Post subject:  Updates from 4.01 to 4.04

4.01

General:

The new hak has been implemented. The details of what it includes will be updated, but for now, a brief summary:

- A whole new range of selections for cleric domains
- Redesigned Harper Scout and Purple Dragon Knight
- A ton of new monsters
- Lots more clothing and weapon designs

However, with such a huge undertaking there are a few things we need to address still. Specifically, there were problems found in domain changing and updating Divine Champions to their new Purge Infidel feat. As such, the domain changing NPC has been disabled until tomorrow's update.

4.01b

General:

- The domain changer is open for business.
- Changed the Ioun Stones to the new hak visuals.
- Added a few new loading screens. This will be quite a low work in progress, as there's a lot of areas to fix.
- Divine Champions automatically exchange Smite Evil for Purge Infidel upon logging in, if appropriate.
- Metamagic may now be applied to custom spells.

4.01c

General:

- Fixed some deities displaying only Air for their domain choices.
- There are now creatures summoned for the Skeleton and Spider familiars, though neither are complete yet.
- The sonic howl from the wolf companion will now only damage hostile creatures.
- Repose domain's summon fixed.
- Retribution domain's prayer is now working.
- DMs are now able to reset the amount of times a PC has changed their domains.
- Portal domain's prayer is now functioning.
- Animal domain's special ability is now applied properly.

- Repose will now (really!) summon the proper creatures.
- Changes to how falling clerics is managed to address issues some were having.

General:

- More fixes to deity idols/praying!
- Moved Wiltun Spawn point from Norway Inn to Crystal Node on the beach.
- General fixes about Caraigh.
- Repositioning of the Eldath's tears quest.
- Plot-related changes to Ceyren's Mill.
- People with the generic GOG CD key are now unable to enter the game, so those affected need to email them for a unique multiplayer key!

4.02

General:

- Fixed the leyline node in Uhm and Zanshibon.
- Job system modifier changes.
- Implemented the new skeleton and phase spider familiars.

- Big change to a certain spell (here's where I earn hate mail from mages!)

Time Stop
This spell can no longer be cast from scrolls or items. Upon casting, all frozen targets are immune to damage or effects or any kind, rendering them untouchable until time starts once more.

Time Stop has a cool down of ten rounds between each casting.

General:

- Palemaster levels are now counted toward the caster's level when casting spells of the Necromancy school, provided they are arcane in origin (divine-only spells are not affected by this). This includes damage, duration and casting level for the purposes of piercing spell resistance, though due to engine limitations, monk spell resistance is not affected.

- Kohlingen changes, as requested by this topic.

- Removed Positive vulnerability from Risen Lord shifter form.
- Changed Stone Bones to Dodge type AC (this will affect the skeleton familiar and Risen Lord form).
- Changed spell-like calculation for Fire Genasi, Air Genasi and Feytouched to use 10 + Hit Dice/2 + charisma modifier.
- Fixed grove gate for drow.

  • Paush's conversation has been tweaked to address outdated information.
  • Offensive Knight Commander auras should no longer dispel themselves.
  • Charges on Basilisk Armor corrected.
  • Another conversation fix to Ceyren's Mill.
  • Underdark party jumping on B has been corrected so it does not take the entire party if they are not in range.
  • Correction to Io and Gruumsh's idols regarding their alignments.
  • Missing hour delay on prayer system usage re-added.

  • Potential fix for the hotbar problem.
  • The Ability transmutation page now displays the correct description.

  • The new Oakmist Vale has been integrated.

  • Fixed the ladder transition in the shrine of Eilistraee.
  • Added healing supplies to the Eilistraeen merchant residing in the interior.

  • The mithral deposit in the Crystal Lake has been made easily accessible.
  • The black mushrooms in Sernheim has been made easily accessible.

  • Added Bendir Dale fund coffer to the town hall.
  • Bendir Dale guards have been individualised.
  • Added northern gate to Bendir Dale; the walls now prevent access into the mylock hills from the north side.

  • Added Tinnerai fund chest.

  • Added a Bendir Dale guard to the Triumvir portrait in the Hinn Inn according to RP developments.
  • Added the Leyline back to Bendir Dale's town hall and moved the fund chest.
  • Added the missing Tree House fund chest to Oakmist Vale.
  • Plot changes to all outdoor areas in Khem according to on-going plot.
  • Tropical Island has had a charming facelift.
  • Minor typo/dialogue changes to various places.
  • New underwater area in Caraigh.

General:

  • Fixed an issue causing the skeleton familiar to sometimes appear as a level 1 creature.
  • Holy Sword has been changed to give an Enhancement bonus to evil instead of a general Enhancement. This means casting it on top of Greater Magic Weapon no longer removes the Enhancement when the spell's duration expires.
  • The shifter Manticore form now uses the correct version of Manticore spikes.
  • The Summoned Shadow from Shadow Conjuration was missing its hide on Amia A. This has been corrected.
  • The DM given dryad form is now available to druids as well as shifters.

  • Updated the text on the pop-up that appears upon death. It has also been given a delay of six seconds before appearing, to prevent the 'Respawn' option being accidentally selected.
  • Added more custom loading screens to areas.
  • Added the new skyboxes to several areas. You should definitely download these!

  • Removed the Cleric of Mystra from South Cordor due to on-going plots.
  • Updated Guldorand to reflect on-going plots.
  • Added Guldorand's survivors to Bendir Dale.
  • Removed the Triumvir portal to Guldorand.
  • Changes to the Khem region for on-going plots.
  • Updated an area for Peeves's events.

  • Fixed Bendir Dale's fund chest.
  • Added fund chest to Warknight keep.
