5.19c and Live Update

General
  • Updated fw_headchanger.nss. Male elf #30 (Squid head) is now available only through DM request
  • Updated travel_coaches (amia island carts) nAmbush is now set to 10 (will never ambush) and player receives a message if they don't have 50gp to ride.
  • Updates to scripts that make RDD breath attacks break invisibility when used
  • Removed Manticore Shadow Stone (old widget), removed i_manticore_s.nss (old script). Removed ds_rdd_breath.nss (old script)
  • Removed i_rdd_breath_wep (old script)


Module A
  • Updated ds_f_rent_enter.nss, ds_rental_deal.nss, and 1 dialogue to return Faction system price back to half.
  • Updated Old Hag merchant in Amia Forest. Her 10x potion stacks in her shop should now be set to infinite.
  • travel_coaches.dlg - Dialogue updated to reflect accurate cart routes.


Live Updates
  • Log Jammar Inn (sc_interiors) - Fixed the Grizzly Cigar PLC so that it now gives you grizzly cigars instead of ale (added descriptions other meta info, and updated price to 15gp as indicated on the PLC itself)
  • Ruathym: Caraigh, Ceyren's Mill - Fixed a trap door that didn't have the dynamic variables back into the interior area.
  • Ruathym: Caraigh, Elderstones - Redid the transition and waypoint to Mushroom Lane. No idea why it's being so sporadic.
  • Ruathym: Caraigh, Mushroom Lane - Redid the transition and waypoint to Elderstones. No idea why it's being so sporadic.
  • Trackless Sea: Tropical Island, Bronto Bar - Fixed the seating problem, hopefully. Also changed the descriptions on all the seats, since it refers to them being benches. But they're not. Also added dynamic script to the lighthouse door since it didn't have it.
  • Underdark: Emerald Lake, Shed - Updated dynamic area script. Door had fw_include instead of fw_instance. Verified variables were correct.
  • Underdark: Spider Hole, Deeper - Area at some point had been replaced with duplicate area files for Underdark: Spider Hole. Resref changed to udb_spiders_2.

Cold Fix
    Trackless Sea

    -Turtles have had Blind-fight added and a small AB boost.
    -Great Whites can now sniff out even the sneakiest of people. (Fire Bolt fix will happen next module update)
    -Big Jellyfish spawns now correctly spawn their auras
    -The Epic Boss [REDACTED] now correctly spawns its aura.

    -Issue with placeables blocking pathing in the Jellyfish Fields area have been sorted.

We have removed the transition to the new dungeon for the time being, a few issues were made apparent which from its original build were not fixed and alongside this the actual location of the dungeon was misinformed.

When we re-introduce it, it will be tougher than those who got to play it a bit early and alongside that, will have the new location of being off the coast of the Serpent Isle.

  • T-Rex boss is now correctly set as a boss and should drop epic loot (If you get a drop and it isn't in the epic loot table, please let a DM know)


General
  • The new dragon shape widgets have been modified again. They should now correctly merge in Helmet, Armor, and Shield. They have been further altered to remove some code that -SHOULD- bring them in line with the feat dragon forms (Please let a DM know if you observe otherwise)
  • Updated script for new class ability in development.

  • Dragon Shape Widgets - Another pass at these. Fixed Shadow Dragon Shape, Adjusted White dragon to be in line with the other shapes, Item merging should match the feat forms as well.

  • Faction Areas - Another pass at ensuring proper pricing. A and B should both allow for faction area purchase at 2.5m. Let me know if otherwise.

  • Bendir Dale: The Hinn Inn - Added some free darts for people. No damage, marked stolen.
  • Frozenfar: Barren Hills, Base - Unlocked an accidentally-permalocked door in the faction area which Lutra found.

  • Completely overhauled Kraken dungeon NPCs ready for testing, added new weapons to some NPCs.
  • Yuan-ti Abomination nerfed to be more in-line with area mobs.

5.19j (+XP Event)-Double-XP script loaded.
-Two handed weapons (except Quarterstaff) get +2 AB, and the Strength modifier to damage (if positive) has been upped from x1.5 to x2. This does not apply if you're using a shield with Monkey Grip.

Edit - Small-size PCs should now also receive this bonus when using two-handed weapons.

OverviewAmia 5.20 is our final 1.69 build number as we prepare for EE. Our focus on these updates are primarily plot and faction changes, alongside this updating dialogues, quests and scripts to accommodate from these changes. We are also hoping to release outstanding projects such as the Kraken dungeon so clear our backlog.


Both servers- Kohlingen portal in the Travel Agency will no longer work.


Amia A- Kohlingen has fallen due to the climax of the Dragonbane plot. Notable NPCs have been moved if they have survived, to Barak Runedar.
- Travel to Kohlingen is no longer possible, boat masters will not travel there and will explain why they won't.
- Bindpoints to both Kohlingen Town Hall and Dragonstone Keep Lower levels.


Amia B- Barak Runedar Port and Great Hall have become populated with Kohlingen Refugees.
- Portal stone to Kohlingen is destroyed.
- New dialogue added to Silver Dragon guards, Kohlingen Refugees, Fine Jorian and Child NPCs.
- Chancellor Simmons name changed to Justicar Gregory Simmons due to plot.

Live Update - A-Cordor Gates updated to reflect IC banning of monster races. If porting into the city (or starting in the city), monster races will need to leave immediately or be escorted out. See the IC posting.
-Signs placed throughout Cordor and at the various gates/entries/district passages to warn people about monsters.
-Ministry NPCs now present in their proper districts and Guldorand.
-Some locks updated.

IMPORTANT: From now on, using an item with high-level spell slots in order to have access to those spell levels far before you would normally have access to them (i.e., stripping them of all other properties using mythals) is considered an exploit. Please don't do this anymore, as it will fall under exploit rule-breaking and punishments. We have added an OOC note to the Nature's Mind amulet found in shops as a reminder, as this is one such item that was often being used in this way. Spell slot items should only be used at the appropriate levels, with the appropriate number of caster levels to normally be able to access that spell level. Using the mythal system to strip such items down so you can have access to level 9 summons for easy leveling as low as level 7 is no longer going to be allowed.

Instances where it's a bonus spell level for a limited caster class beyond what's normally available (via metamagic feats like for Bard level 7 or Paladin level 5) are still okay to use if you have one.
