Aside from what is provided on the amia-wikia, does there exist any more information on these people? From what I heard Disco intended them to basicly be norse/viking kind of people, is this still correct? Second; if they are indeed intended to be the amian equivalent of the norse, can one assume they ahve the same culture as well? Berserkers are mentioned in one of the quests which leads me to believe so. Third, what is their relationship with those who live in Rhuatym? Are they of teh same stock and/or culture?

I imagine they are of the Northmen who live basically around the North and the islands. Plenty of them on the Moonshaes, for example. I think Ruathym has both Illuskans and Northmen? I'm not quite sure about its history.

Yep, they're Northmen through and through. Although, some influxes of other races also exist in Howness, namely, a dwarf and some folks from Cordor (via the Amian Trader's Federation) and the Church of Helm likely has the odd outsider.

If you listen to the stories the NPCs tell, they're right out of Norse mythology. They appear to be passages straight out of it.

I remember Disco saying much of Forrstakkr is inspired by Beowulf.... I think.
