This will be where any who have business in the Lowlands Delta may post the goings on. Please do not clutter this thread with unnecessary posts and please do not post OOC in any way. Inner circle members of Broken Road Merc Co. and Broken Dreams Trading, please reserve any private information type posts for when we have a moderated faction forum. Thank you and happy posting!

Lowlands Delta is seeing an influx of activity. Slowly but surely, more people are arriving and working in the area. Supplies come in from off shore and by cart routes. Occasionally a portal is seen opening or closing, transporting both goods and people.

More often than not, the red haired ranger known as Walker is seen directing workers and looking over the projects going on. The Cordorian flags that were previously posted on the bridges are removed and replaced with the standard of Broken Dreams Trading Co. The sign outside the main building, formerly known as the Golden Phoenix is also replaced with another sign for an up and coming tavern, trade, & entertainment business; Stormwalker's Hall.

Throughout the hamlet, labor ensues. Old ruined buildings are cleared out and the land being made read for planting. Fences go up, ready to receive livestock from the mainland. The smaller building is opened up and cleared out, making room for workers in their time off and some rooms available for travelers on a waypoint stop. A small plaque is hung over the door, dubbing the place Delta Downs Inn.

The main source of construction seems to be going on along the shore, where a docking area rises from the bay to accept small skiffs running along the coastline and the main building is gutted with crews beginning reconstructing the interior.

Two days ago, anyone in the area might have caught wind of some form of rock falling from the sky in the swamps between the Lowlands Delta and the portal to Tarkuul. It just so happened that on that very evening, Sir Gerald Edmund, First Knight of Tarkuul was visiting the Delta. Together, he and Walker, along with a Pathfinder, a Shadowmistress, a raging barbarian and a dark clad winged woman enter the swamps to investigate. The group later returns, only a little worse for the wear and Sir Gerald is seen bathing then entire Delta in waves of negative energy. Apparently something needed killing. After this is done, Walker comes in behind and blesses and thrusts positive and divine energies onto the area, sure to cleanse anything that might have lingered.

The last day or so has seen a few farmers arriving in the small hamlet from the eastern swamp area. They are escorted by men-at-arms. The few that have come are given room and board at the Delta Downs Inn, also under renovation. Work begins shortly after to prepare the lands for planting. Tools have arrived as well as a pair of oxen for plowing.

Late into the evening, the red haired woman that seems to have things in hand in the Delta, is seen walking the grounds with a curious golden haired man. They both speak animatedly and spend most of their conversation near the southern hill area, motioning vaguely this way and that, then making their way to look over the dock construction behind Stormwalker's Hall. Eventually the man leaves with a smile and a wave. Any that might have overheard their conversation would be given the impression they spoke about medicinal herbs, the man agreeing to compile a list of useful plants and return in a few days.

Yesterday evening, a group of several Cordorians was seen entering the Delta. The man leading them was decked out in golden armor with a giant greatsword over his shoulder. They walked through the area, viewing the goings on there and the man seemed to linger a moment at the campsite known to belong to Walker. Not finding her there, he then lead his group back south on the carts, taking with him, the Cordorian Flags that had previously been posted.

Supplies continue to arrive. Wagons of lumber through use of a portal and sacks of grain and other building materials by ship. Some of the supplies are loaded onto wagons and are sent out of the Delta, headed east into the swamp.

Walker tours the grounds daily to oversee the working going on, checking on progress and the general well being of the workers. On one particular tour she is seen in the company of a lithe elven man seeming to exude wisps of shadow. Their tour is ended as they arrive back at the campsite to find someone waiting. The golden armored man with his giant sword spends a few hours talking with the pair before bringing forth an ethereal piano made of light. He played for them then, a slow and steady ballad that caused one's heart to ache with remembrance. Few others arrived after the performance and soon all dispersed. Each going their separate ways.

A few people could be seen being escorted by the Living Guard of Tarkuul to Walker's camp site. The arrivals seem to be former Cordorians looking for work, and the escort seems to be personally headed by the High Captain. When all of the arrivals were settled in the Captain would take his leave as quickly as he arrived, taking his guardsmen with him.

OOC Edit: Damn auto correct putt Floridians instead of Cordirians.

Disaster struck today in the Lowland's delta, when mysterious attackers came, slew the mercenary guards there, the workforce, and set fire to the old Golden Phoenix Entertainment building, which has now been reduced to little more than charred rubble, as has a stockpile of building materials.

Twelve corpses lie in the swampy ground, scattered throughout the area. A mix of burns and blunt force trauma evident on many of them.

*three men.. two barbariands and one man in green and black armor.. stumbled upon the scene.. and were subsoquently attacked from an invisible sources.. and laid low. Only by the grace of whatever god may have been watching were they not slain.

After it was over... the three men collected themselves, and began to put out the fires with water from the sea.. trying to save as much as was possible.

The man in Green and black.. now had a look in his eyes... one of pure hatred. He knew it was Karradon and his wife the false paladin Ciaran that did this... he caught their faces before he went down.

Now it is time for them to learn... and learn they will.

"I will rebuild this Karradon.. and I yet live.. which is more than your unborn child can say." he muses to himself as he goes about trying to clean what he can.

Theadric Shortwick would be seen walking through the area from Cordors direction outward. Upon seeing the wreckage a frown crosses his gaze. He shakes his head before looking around for imminent danger before leaving the scene with a look of sadness.

Shortly after learning of the incident, a large, golden-scaled half-dragon is seen in the area. Alongside a man dressed in white and brown cloths, the massive, brilliant creature digs a grave for each corpse found. The bodies are buried with due diligence, overseen by Storm and the healer Evander. When finished, the half-dragon places a single marker to honor each of the fallen:

Souls lost to Injustice.
May they find peace where they were granted none in life.

Walker is seen working in the Delta as per her usual. She appears to be exhausted and dirty, a sadness lingering over her but along with that a fierce determination as she goes about aiding the salvaging work. She would spend much time at the graves of the fallen, her head bowed in prayer, tears sliding down her cheeks to patter softly into the soil.

**Two Nights Prior To The Attack**
Aldan brought two new people to the Lowlands Delta to see the construction site. The barbaric looking woman, Aella, and the man of nothing to note, Jokmar. With no sense of direction or purpose, it was quite obvious they were newcomers to the island, with little to their name and no titles to support their worth. It only took Jokmar one look at Aldan's size, armor, and sword, for him to assess that he's a man of incredible worth, and thus it didn't take any persuading on Aldan's behalf for the two to be interested in his proposition; help build an Alehouse, and they will be compensated.

Jokmar and Aella acquainted themselves with a small group of others who had gathered around a fire, enjoying their meal and drink. It was agreed that first thing in the morning they'd be put to work and start earning their worth. Their first bit of gold since arriving at Amia.

**The Day Prior To The Attack**
At first light, Jokmar and Aella were both at the site and ready to get started. Jokmar first spent some time discussing the layout and plans with the other workers before he picked up a handful of nails, a hammer, boards, and quickly got to work. It was apparent he was experienced, and once he knew what the goal was, he needed little more instruction. Despite the constant bickering and mutual harassment from what seemed like an endless variety of trivial things, he worked closely and efficiently with Aella, who was obviously inexperienced with this kind of work, but surprisingly attentive and obedient to Jokmar's instruction. Where people might have been hesitant at first, it became apparent that their work was impeccable and unaffected by their bicker.

Night came and they retired, taking their leave to some obscure quiet location in the woods to set a camp.

**The Day Of The Attack**
As the two were returning to the construction site for another day's worth of work, they arrived to only see the aftermath of the attack. No words needed to be exchanged between the two when it came to danger; the moment they saw the wreckage they took to the shadows and remained off in the distance, observing for a time. They didn't dare approach to investigate without seeing Aldan or one of the few others they knew for certain wouldn't be responsible. They looked at one another and gave a silent nod in agreement, knowing what the other is thinking, they turned and left, weapons drawn, and cautious quiet steps in case if those responsible were still nearby.

Frugdar can be seen pacing the area now and then, angrily thinking of what he's going to do to Karradon and Ciaran when he gets his hands on them... He already ended their child. Now must he do much more?

"I will... Eat... Their hearts," he says angrily. He watches Walker as she tearfully prays over the fallen, and he continues stomping and pacing from a distance, thinking of all the ways to carve up and mutilate a body.

At the behest of the First Knight of Tarkuul, Sir Gerald, who graciously had sent men to help in the Delta, only to meet their ends, Walker now stands over the fallen, their bodies unearthed to receive proper right and ritual, attempting to recall their spirits to their mortal coils. She prays fervently for the restoration of their bodies and the mending of their souls. In the midst of her calls to the Rider of the Winds, her voice rises and hardens with a fierce determination in her conviction, to right the wrongs of the two who so wrought destruction, strife, and loss to these people and this land, bringing vengeance to the wrong doers very doorstep if need be.

//ooc: seeking DM intervention here to resurrect the 12 fallen people, if someone (likely Kobra) could post if Walker was successful or not please? :)

Both before and after her seeing to the fallen, Walker is seen going about her usual duties as before the tragedy had occurred here. She works tirelessly with a stubbornness known mostly to Dwarves. Cleaning the rubble from the burnt shell of a building as well as the ruined materials. Counseling anyone left in the area that either witnessed the travesty, or is dealing with the aftermath. Also offering counsel to the families of the fallen if need be. Undeterred by what has befallen the Delta, the redhead will not give up. Doing much of the work herself that before would have been seen to by the men and women hired. She would welcome any and all assistance, as well as offer her gratitude to those simply taking guard over her and the land itself, particularly a bear cloaked barbarian and a golden haired sun elf.

The large man in green and black armor.. is seen shedding said armor. He wears nothing but his breeches, and begins to work side by side with the woman, lifting the heavy beams of wood, and clearing debris.

He works from sun up to sundown. Sweat beads and rolls from his body but he does not quite except to drink water, and eat where he works. The look of determination is fierce, and ever present.

Between destructive forays into the wilds to sate his blood lust and alleviate his boredom, Soilbrood frequents the Delta. He is rarely seen doing any sort of physical labor, when he is seen at all. Instead, he marches back and forth along the bridges and shorelines, guarding against possible threats and incursions while taking notes and measurements, pausing at times to construct crude little models of what might be future fortifications.

After the resurrections of those that heeded the call to rise, Walker is seen going about her usual business. She makes camp inside the portion between the gates now, at her side is a behemoth nature elemental, looking like a massive upside down oak tree. She makes the round to any and all that have taken to camping there, working there, or simply patrolling the area, expressing her gratitude and asking after their health and well being. She goes on daily hunts to bring back game to cook over the campfire for the residents of the Delta. Occasionally she is seen returning through a portal or though the ley line, with bundles of wood over her shoulder, or being carried by the elemental accompanying her.

Watching from a treeline after a time a hunter can be seen rarely. Not fully understanding why so many had to die from the action that occurred he keeps his distance. Though every now and then he is seen. Some where in his mind he cannot help but feel that there are larger threats around and that tossing lives away so easily is a waste of potential strength. He simply heads back out to hunt some more game in the surrounding area. Tracking along the paths and leaving little to no trace of his movements.

Throughout the day.. The large man can be seen waring a heavy apron and carrying a large mallet. He beats posts down into the ground, and hauls debris away steadily, until none is left and rebuilding is commenced.

The large man drives stakes into the ground, and hammers boards up, building. he stops only for water and short meals during the day, and to adress the occasional passerby.

At night however, the camp is set, fire flare up and food is cooked, generous amounts await those who work, or the interested passerby. The large man, and his family sit and eat, drink and laugh. They tell stories, and jokes, and invite any who come with passive intent to join them

It is said clearly... that the recent events, and those continuing to cause trouble will not deter the group from their chosen course, and will not dampen their spirits.

Around the campfire every evening, after a hard days labor, Walker is seen resting and enjoying the company to be found there. They all eat and drink and have a good time, despite the hardships of late. Indeed, their spirits are not dampened and their course has not changed. All that may wish are welcomed with open arms, to feast and make friends, inquire after work or trade. Overall, it is a welcome sight to have so many visiting the small hamlet and to see the work continuing with never wavering determination.

In his spare time, Frugdar can be seen hammering nails, lifting massive pieces of wood with ease for others, chopping wood, or hammering posts together and in the ground, to help with the construction efforts.

Though the still-faithful Uthgardt now worships Garagos alongside Uthgar, he still will not cut down a living tree, and so although he will not aid in the gathering of resources, he will freely aid in the construction of what is there, and he keeps a close eye on the portal and gates for protection. Sometimes, he can be seen even standing right near the portal, warded as much as he can and with a glowing sword drawn, his fierce, large visage intimidating any that dare use the portal line - for he must be on the guard of other attacks. Things were said that indicate to Frugdar that Karradon and his wife may not be the last attackers on this free land, and this Uthgardt will do all in his power to protect his friends' land from harm.

The sound of a swarm of flies buzzing, unsettled the Lowland delta last night as
a slender, crooked figure slowly approached. Leant upon his staff, the man blankly
stared at those present, with a barren glitter in his gaze. After a brief, yet tense
exchange of words with a pair of halflings, he lurched towards the putrid marshes,
leaving only a fetid malodor of decomposition behind, to plague the senses of those
who would stay.

After coming back to the camp with game in hand something caught Pathfinders nose. It wrinkled from some foul smell of something well past due or something dead. Bringing his woodsman scarf over his lower face once more the man gags. He thinks to himself "What in Uthgardt gave birth to this unsanctioned smell." .

After a time he wanders around following the scent and tracks a bit. It seems to become too much for the pathfinder and he makes a hasty retreat. After a short while he leaves then returns with something in hand. He starts spreading it around the fire and then on the ground. Dried and mashed up herbs blow in the wind. A thought crosses his mind. "Now does not smell like a Bone Walker passing wind." He then simply walks off back to his tree line to watch over the camp. Still shocked at the smell that he caught in the wind.

Accustomed to the feeling of being watched, Walker goes about her work regardless. She seems to have taken on an even more determined stride. Her work almost seems angry as she hacks away at wood pieces and hammers boards together. She hauls stone with the help of her nature elemental and shovels dirt to level out the ground. Eventually the dirt cakes on her, sticking to her sweat covered skin, now and then cracking to reveal blood dripping from many blisters and cuts. Still she does not stop from morning until night, until she can physically go no more, dropping onto her bedroll and passing out.

Throughout all of this she might be overheard muttering and cursing under her breath but the most prominent and repetitive of these is the soft mantra of 'Fuck em'.

A small gnome-like creature, with her skin completely covered, goes about work in the Delta on a nightly basis, filling holes, leveling ground, and leading oxen to plow.
She seems to work quietly, until spoken to, in which she seems very nervous.

Often times a kobold can be seen on the grounds, as well, chatting with the gnome-like creature when they are together.
The kobold goes about leveling and filling holes, seeming quite content with the manual labor, if a bit of a perfectionist in 'getting it right'.

The brown dog that's come to be known as "Roofus" continues to be a frequent sight in the Delta. Often visiting for periods of time, and disappearing for long periods of time as well without a trace.

He's usually seen with minor scratches, but these are usually only just on the surface appearing to have healed over. This seems partly due to his aggression to nearby wildlife that seems to have become a bit more distinct.

He can sometimes be heard in the distance having growling matches with a Swamplight Lynx, winning often, getting them to back off. Other times he can be seen running around with or crunching on a giant spider leg, biting through to the meat below like crab legs.

Anyone that gets too close to him without his wanting would find him amazingly elusive, able to turn a corner and simply be gone, perhaps hinting as to how this dog has survived in the swamps so long.

The other funny and interesting sight is that he appears to have learned to pull on the gate mechanisms in the Delta with his claws, giving him free access to the area. As a result, the heart of the Delta occasionally sees scraps of half-eaten spider legs sometimes left in a corner.

In the center of the Delta usually stands a beaming young woman, her blonde mane glittering under the scrutiny of the sun that beats above the land each afternoon. She is usually seen sitting around the camp, either pep-talking or giggling her way through a horribly stressful situation. The attractive girl had kept at Walker's side more and more as the days progress, her gentle frame leaning in and providing comfort when needed. Lately, she can be seen traveling and resting with a lovely canine at her side

"Roofus!" she would call after the pup, coupled with a hearty giggle and a hand flail or two.

***

After a fateful and quiet night, the young woman came rushing through the Delta without a word; her soft and angelic countenance was muddied with tears, her cheeks a very visible shade of pissed-off crimson. After a word or two with the red-headed ranger, she seemed to calm down for the time being. Just in the nick of time, as if he could sense it, Roofus came trotting to her side with a faithful "Roof!". For the remainder of the night, the somber young woman kept at his side, petting him fondly.

It'd seem the normal guardians of the Delta would have been absent for several hours, or perhaps most of the night, and in their stead would be a tall figure, a large, exquisite looking longbow being held in his hand. Several arrows would seem to stick out of each boot, while a quiver would be upon his back. Every so often he'd be seen sitting around the fire, before going into the tent. Surprisingly, if one was watching, he'd appear on the other side of the island a few moments, walking normally. Yet how did he get there. His rounds were random, no route exactly the same as he made general chit chat with those he encountered.

In the black of the night an armoured figure seem thrown into the swamps from an unknown destination,

The black armoured figure seems to be covered in full plate and what was left of his skin is now black and charred,

The figure did not stay there long, but could be seen sharpening two jagged blades before it left.

Any in the swamps who observed this in the blackness in the night felt a chill and a sense the figure would return.

The only evidence that the figure was there was a simple black page with white ink simply having a tally sheet.

It had two white marks on it.

Many seem to be visiting the Delta as of the past days. The lady Alanna of Wharftown came through one evening and spoke with the red haired woman for well over an hour. It seems that a couple War Knights have taken to visiting every couple of days. There is a monk dressed all in black that passes through at least once a day, sometimes remaining a while, or speaking to the red haired woman; sometimes not. Lord Avadon was seen speaking to her as well, sitting around the campfire for a while before taking a tour of the place as the discussion continued. He and the red haired woman, accompanied by two elves.

On the rare occasion that it is not bustling with activity, the red haired woman takes the time to enjoy some relaxation. She seems happiest in this time, walking about with a one eyed coyote, bear foot squishing through the mud with a wispy gown floating about her exposed thighs, her fiery hair set adrift on the sea breeze, a warm smile on her lips as her face turned up to the sky.

It seems that no matter what comes, what she must face, what she must do to protect those she loves; it is her choice to remain here, and from that simple freedom to make her own choice, comes her conviction, her determination. Any watching would have no choice but to realize, she isn't going anywhere.

The morning began as any other in the Delta this day but with the addition of high spirits. Walker and her most recent companion are seen frolicking in the bay, laughing at play. It is a peaceful and enjoyable time for any passing by. Soon this comes to an end as visitors begin to arrive. A grey robed man lead through a tour by the large black and green armored man. Another grey robed man accompanied by a brown cloaked man, mug in hand, they speak around the fire for a time, then make some small trade, seemingly purchasing some wands from the red head.

Some time later, a familiar face appears that had been absent for a while. A darkly clad elf with white hair and shadows swirling about his form approached. The red head spoke to him briefly at first, then after some seemingly terse words and a short separation, spoke more at length. The conversation to any onlooker would be riddled with tension and high stress, the woman seeming constantly on the verge of tears. Eventually, the elf took his leave and the girl slid to the ground with her back to a half constructed wall, her features expressionless as she withdrew into herself.

It could be noted that on this day, three of the figures in the Delta, now wear the colors black and green. Perhaps as a symbol of unity or for the more keen observer, an act of defiance.

And yet the trials and tribulations continue to be thrown heedlessly at the freckle faced girl.

A young man of average appearance with brown hair and green eyes, who had recently been seen frequenting the Delta in the company of a beautiful blonde, came running into the Delta, asking after the red head. She and a golden haired elf are seen emerging from behind the inn from some private discussion and attended to the man for some time. Walker moving off to the side several times to focus her efforts into sending spells. It seemed that once more, something was amiss for the devout of the Helping Hand, or at least for those that come seeking her assistance and guidance.

Throughout the afternoon this continued, at some point a hin woman all in red arriving to standby curiously. The golden haired elf seemed ever attentive to whatever Walker needed, as well as the arrival of the black clad monk, offering his own aid. Into the evening, more people arrived as the tension and unease continued to grow and settle into the strained shoulders of those in the Delta. With each 'spell', Walker seemed to grow weaker as the day progressed. Eventually, the normal residents of the Delta began to arrive.

First, the Kozakuran man, coming to stand at Walker's side as she spoke in a calm but firm tone with the green eyed man. Then the large human in black and green armor. His arrival under poor reception from the green eyed man. Finally, the winged woman and the beautiful blonde, that was no longer a beauty. Her face scarred upon her cheek from what seemed to most, to be some form of searing burn, disfiguring her angelic countenance.

There was a flurry of hushed discussion amongst those present until finally it seemed that something was going to happen. Something that had been leading up to this point the entire day. Walker and the blonde stood in the center of the freshly leveled land, the red head's hand upon the cheek of the girl, murmuring softly, exhausted already but determination and love of a sister causing her to press forward, despite the harm it might cause to herself. The winds swirled into a near torrent of power as the healing and restorative blessings were channeled through the red head, into the blonde. The power though strong, was seemingly not enough to overcome the mark upon the girls face but instead, pressed back upon the caster and caused her to fall to the ground, unconscious.

The blonde buckled over her and cried out, fearful of the consequences, checking over the woman to reassure herself that she still lived. Several of the males about the area tended to the priestess after she had been restored successfully from both a scroll read by her brother, the large armored man as well as through divine assistance from the winged woman. She was then carried back to the campfire where she remained upon soft cushions, eventually waking and speaking with a few quietly, still very much in need of rest from the ordeal despite being in good health. As evening gave way to night, the many visitors of the Delta began to disperse one by one or in pairs until only four remained. The winged woman spoke quietly with a darkly clad stranger, off to the side but within range to watch over the red head. The fourth being the hin woman who decided to stay the night, unfurling her bedroll in the northwest section to lay beneath the stars until slumber took her into peaceful dreams.

A unfamiliar militian figure is seen frequently standing watchful in the Delta. Her moss green eyes critical and assessing though her face is expressionless and hard. Dressed in slightly iridescent full plate and grey cloak few would notice the small chess piece amulet around her neck.

Most would feel a bit of unease when the stern expression turns towards them sensing the barely contained brutality and violence.

Most days she speaks to few, always seeming apart from those gathered, and when she does it is of defense and training.

This evening, a middle-aged wizard with dark hair came across the Delta. He looked around the area, taking special note of 'Rules of the Delta'. With little other activity seen, the man took a cart toward Wharftown.

In the Delta, the red haired woman takes the new notice tacked up by Tarkullian Archmage Xilphas and stuffs it in her pack. Unshouldering her bow and speaking a soft prayer, she heads north on the road to Wharftown. A definite purpose in her stride.

Along the coastlines and at Pearldiver's Bay, Jezabel Asherah has been hard at work collecting Limestone for storage and delivery to the Lowlands Delta for the Broken Dreams Trading Company, transported by the cart services through Wharftown. After arriving with the cargo, Jezabel would have been observed speaking with hired hands, workers and directly with Walker. They would be seen and overheard discussing regular shipments, storage and usage of the Limestone for the fields.

The large man who normally wears green and black armor has been seen lately in work clothing. He is removing wood and other supplies, packing them up in crates and loading them onto carts. The red haired woman then opens a portal for him and he drags the carts through, disappearing from the Delta for a time. When he returns, he repeats the process, until all of the supplies are gone.

As well... work in the area has slowed. Building does progress still, but at a much slower pace. Building materials are brought in as needed.

Of late it seems that the red haired woman is not seen in the Delta quite as often as she had been. While she is there often, sometimes find her absent for an entire day or more. Many times she is seen coming and going, checking in on things and leaving again.

When she is seen, in the last couple days, she appears to have had some energy and life renewed to her stride. She walks with a purposeful vigor, her smile bright and warm for all that she meets. Her hair blows wildly in the winds coming off the bay and there is a general excitement about her. It seems that she has been returned to a joyful spirit.

The Sun elf is hardly seen of late , spending little time in the Delta other than an evening swim in the bay with his companion . When seen he is busy , either rushing around helping move supplies or in hushed conversations with the red head and large man in black and green. He seems really happy and has a new sense of purpose in his life . When not at work he can often be seen daydreaming with a smile on his face lost in thought ..

The red head is completely absent in the last days. Any that should look for her would have to speak to those close to her to find out where she has gone to. In her absence, the breeze across the bay seems to have lessened to a seldom wisp of breath. Remnants of her work there remain, as well as activity continuing with the rest of the Broken Road and Delta inhabitants and visitors. After being absent a couple days, a portal opens and out steps a one eyed coyote, sniffing around and surveying the land and anyone there. Depending on what he finds, he would eventually make his way out of the Delta and should he be followed, would be seen going into Winya Rivana to settle on the grass near the stream behind one of the homes. He would return to the Delta some time later and again several more times, seemingly checking in on things or maybe looking for someone?
