In order to keep the people of the Treaty of Light informed regarding the developments of the war effort, the War Council of the Alliance shall be releasing regular statements. Inquires can be sent to the Dragonstone Keep.

The Threat of the Blood Mage Amon:
Several days ago the Arcanum blood mage known as Amon was eliminated as a threat to the people of Amia and the Realm by the valiant efforts of Dame Alanna, member of the War Council of the Alliance on behalf of the Duchy of Cordor. With his death, another hard blow has been dealt to the efforts of the Arcanum. Two of the blood mages now have fallen against the Alliance efforts.

Military Support for Bendir Dale:
In answer to the request of Bendir Dale for military support, the Alliance has determined to stand by our southern neighbor with a garrison of two-hundred soldiers of Kohlingen and Barak Runedar. The Heartland Expeditionary Force stands under command of Thaegn Whurak Valtenson of Barak Runedar, a war proven veteran, tactician and a commander of the Winter War, as well as member of the War Council of the Alliance.

Military action against the Mercenary Encampmment:
The suspected threat of the Mercenary Encampment being used by the Thayans against Kohlingen was confirmed. Due to the Thayan aggression on Kohlingen soil, military action was required by the Holy City and her allies. This was carried out under the command of Lord Ulrik Valis. After the surrender of Captain Dane on behalf of his men of the Mercenary Encampment, a non-aggression pact was signed with the Treaty of Light and the Thayans are now banished from the encampment. In addition, the encampment remains under Kohlingen jurisdiction for the forseeable future. The caverns between the mercenary camp and the Greengarden District are now sealed.

A military funeral will be held for the brave men and women who fell in the battle to protect the people of Kohlingen. We ask that all offer their prayers for their souls and the families and friends they left behind.

Military Offensive against the Beastmen:
During the Beastmen Siege of Kohlingen two years ago, intelligence reports had indicated that Cordorian-Arcanum agents had bolstered their efforts in order to weaken the city-state of Kohlingen. In order to minimize the threat of the Beastmen being employed for the efforts against Kohlingen once more, a preemptive strike was planned.

Yesterday, Kohlingen with the support of the Emerald Rose Guard, this military offensive against the beastmen was executed. Under command of Lord Ulrik Valis and Sir Tuomas Valo.

While a harsh blow as dealt against our old enemy, it was discovered that the Beastmen have continued and apparently expanded their demonic-worshipping practices. In addition, it was confirmed that there are a number of additional large lairs in the wilds between Kohlingen and Uhm.

Military Offensive against the Thayans:
Shortly after the offensive against the Beastmen, with the support of the Emerald Rose Guard and two adventurers, Kohlingen conducted a military offensive against the Thayan cell of Amia at Kampo's, in response to an intelligence report that indicated they were preparing to attack our neighbor of Winya Ravana once more. All six of the Thayan cell present were felled in a quick and efficient battle when they refused to surrender.

Support for Military Families:
Two years ago during the Winter War in Brogendenstein, Kohlingen established a fund to support the families of the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. We encourage all who can spare a little of their hard earned coin to help provide for these families with donations to the fund for the upcoming conflicts against both Amn and Thay.

Attacks in the South West:
Kohlinginer and Wharftonian troops under command of Commander Alanna Molov, with the assistance of adventurers, have repelled two attacks directed against the Treaty of Light village of Wharftown. The first attack was one orchestrated by Yuan-ti. The second came a few days later, and was an offensive conducted by the brigands of the south-western coast area. In both battles, clear victories were won by the determined defenders.

The Branded Phoenix:
A group of adventurers under the leadership of Miss Emilie Everguard have staged an attack upon the Amnish several days prior to the Battle of Clearwater Bay. Due to bravery and dedication against the invaders, an Amnish war galleon and a supply ship were sunk. The War Council hereby offers official recognition and commendation of these deeds against the Amnish.

Battle of Clearwater Bay
Three days ago, the Alliance responded to an Amnish attack upon a merchant vessel bound for Kohlingen. The invading war galleon was in response engaged by the Marinsbane, the Holy City's flagship. The enemy vessel was boarded after a series of firing exchanges and taken as a prize of war.

The War Council hereby expresses gratitude to the allies of Kohlingen, as well as the adventurers who assisted with securing this victory against the invaders. For exceptional work during the battle and for spearheading Kohlignen's naval preparations, Sir Tuomas Valo was granted the honor of naming the captured vessel. It has been dubbed the Raziel, in honor of the great celestial crusader.

Preparations in the Heartlands:
The Alliance Heartland Expeditionary force under command of Commander Whurak Valtenson of Barak Runedar is continuing to assist in fortifying our southern neighbor for the war.

Aid to the War Effort:
The War Council wishes to express it's gratitude to those individuals who have dedicated their efforts in helping the refugees in and people of Kohlingen. There have been several large donations of food, as well as the blessing of our fields for a more bountiful harvest. We encourage the people of Kohlingen and the refugees to express their gratitude to these individuals personally as well.

Investors Sought:
Due to the conquests of the Arcanum-Loyalist forces, the wealth they looted from the nations they attacked is being invested to strengthen their military capabilities against the Amian region. The War Council is encouraging private investors, who would be inclined to assist with the war effort by helping to fund additional endeavors, to come forward. Resources remain a vital aspect in any war, and as the Alliance is standing by other settlements of this region with military and material aid, as well as taking in refugees, our upkeep costs have risen notably as a result.

Military Restructuring:
The unanimous proposal of the War Council for a unified restructuring of the Alliance military has been signed by the three Heads of State. The High Command consists of Lord Field Marshall Robert of Caris, Lord Marshall Ulrik Valis, Major 1st Class Whurak Valtenson for Barak Runedar, Major 1st Class Charles Navare for Kohlingen and Lord Major 1st Class Augir Goldberg for the Duchy of Cordor.

Garrison for Uhm:
The Alliance of Kohlingen, Barak Runedar and the Duchy of Cordor has offered the township of Uhm reinforcements to safeguard it's population, as well as the safety of Kohlingen for it's civilian population. Military assistance was offered several times, and but repeatedly declined.

Southern Expeditionary Force:
The Alliance has dispatched eight hundred soldiers, composed of Kohlinger and Ducal- Cordorian personell, to the City of Cordor by request of the Commonwealth, to assist with the defensive efforts there. Winya Ravena, coordinating with the War Council, has dispatched an additional garrison. Lord Marshall Ulrik Valis was granted command, and oversaw the preperations.

With the return of Lord Field Marshall Robert of Caris from his work in Waterdeep with the Lord's Alliance and it's allies, command will be transfered to him within the tenday. Lord Mashall Ulrik Valis will return to the City of Kohlingen in his stead with an honoary discharge of his command.

War Effort on the Mainland:
The states of the Lord's Alliance and it's allies on the mainland have continued to engage the enemy. The Arcanum forces have continued a slow and steady push, but were denied any noteable victories.

Attack upon Uhm:
Yesterday afternoon the amnish-arcanum forces struck the township of Uhm located on the north-western coast. One of their War Galleons temporarily anchored in the waters of Wharftown outside of atillery range. The enemy then proceeded to execute prisoners by setting them aflame and dropping them from the masts. Once all prisoners had been executed, the ship set sail up the coast to the township of Uhm. Before it arrived there, thick smoke already began to rise from the north.

A group of volunteer adventurers proceeded north, while Dame Alanna prepared a strike force to engage the vessel. The inhabitants had already been killed and mutiliated in a display at the village before the volunteer adventurers arrived. The volunteer adventurers engaged several mercenaries within the township. The War Galleon then proceeded to open atillery fire upon the township of Uhm, leveling it to the ground.

Dame Alanna's strike force in turn successfully struck the vessel, leading to it's destruction and the loss of it's crew, with the exception of the cowled wizards who managed to escape.

There were no survivors among the population of Uhm. Their bodies were brought to Wharftown after the fighting. With the combined efforts of the clergy stationed at Wharftown, as well as the adventurers present, only a small number could be restored to life. These will be brought to the safety of Kohlingen once they are in a condition to be transported.

Engagement on the Trackless Sea:

On the 28th of Eleint, the naval forces of the Alliance joined with those of the Wiltun jarldom in a coordinated attack upon a massive Amnish armada poised to invade Amia. With this massive armada was a horde of Maztican warriors, set to bring death and destruction to northern Amia by their Arcanum-Amnish taskmasters.

Engaging the enemy armada in a brutal battle, Alliance-Wiltun forces were vastly outnumbered. The Amnish had an estimated three-hundred plus vessels in their armada. Allied naval forces were outnumbered well over three-to-one. The Maztican horde outnumbered Alliance marine forces nearly thirty-to-one, by conservative estimate. In spite the dire odds, no less than two-hundred enemy vessels were sent to the sea-floor, and no less than 65,000 enemy combatants were slain.

The High Command commends the efforts of Allied-Wiltun officers, soldiers, sailors, and joining Amian adventurers who saw victory in the face of dire odds.

Deepest condolences and gratitude are extended to those who lost loved ones in this pivotal battle. Know that your sacrifices are not in vain, and shall be remembered. Countless innocent lives have been protected, and a decisive victory against the enemy was won.

The Holy City of Kohlingen honors the brave crews of the Stout Oak and Ocean Defender, war vessels of the naval forces of Barak Runedar. Two dwarven crews who gave their lives in the defense of their allies. The honor and sacrifices of the dwarven soldiery shall never be forgotten by the people of Kohlingen.

The High Command also welcomes the jarldom of Wiltun to the Great War against Amn and the Arcanum. We offer our commendation and thanks to the Wiltunian forces, whose bravery and tenacity on the seas was essential in securing our victory against the Amnish armada and the Maztican horde. Your dead shall be honored and remembered alongside those who have already fallen in defiance of the tyrannical designs of Sigismund Selemchant and the mad folly of Collin Reyes.

May the gods of light and reason continue to guide us.

`Ulrik Valis
Lord Marshal of the Alliance
Kohlingen Seat, War Council of the Alliance

*A final written statement is issued to the soldiers of the Alliance by the Lord Field Marshall.*

Collin Reyes is defeated, the Arcanum's machinations are unraveled, and the withdrawal of Amnish war vessels from Amian waters is underway. The Great War has been won, and hostilities are now at an end. Once he had been brought down in two different time lines, by the valiant efforts of those who dared to rise up against him in final battle, he was subjected to the judgment of the Gods.

He has been weighed, he has been measured, and he has been found wanting. His punishment was subsequently carried out, and Collin Reyes was transformed into a Zeitgeist, commanded to undo all the damage he has brought upon the realms.

In light of the victory of the joint military campaign, I have with great pride issued my final command as Lord Field Marshall and Head of the War Council of the Alliance. Our garrisons in Bendir Dale, Cordor and Wharftown have been given their orders to return to the City of Kohlingen, from which those of our dwarven allies may then continue onward to their own home. The War Council is hereby disbanded, and military authority returned solely to the three States, as it was before the war.

I shall until the last of my days remember my officers and soldiers with pride, fondness and respect. Soldiers of Kohlingen, Barak Runedar and the Duchy of Cordor, it was an honor and a privilege, and you hold my deepest gratitude for your services and sacrifices. I could not have been honored with command of a better military force for this war.
