Archmage Urien would be seen giving his first (of many) lectures. This being on Necromancy, spending the first half of the lecture in a well rehearsed speech about the dangers of control or create undead, and the second half in an impassioned debate with some attendees about what was "black" and what was "white" necromancy. The Archmage insisted the separation was simply made popular by some prevaricating Kelemvorite "crusaders" and that no such separation exists outside of their "black and white" garments and propaganda... ending his speech, or... what could be called a sermon at this point, by reminding his attendance that labels distract from reality, a spell is not black or white unless the mage uses it to facilitate those ends. As such those labels are simply useless, and a mage has no use for useless things.
The Archmage would be seen giving a lecture on ethics, and how morality isn't simply confined to the results of 'detect good' or 'detect chaos.' The lecture is impassioned and esoteric.

A simple note would find it's way to the Archmage's desk:
Archmagister, I have gotten word that you are conducting lectures at the Delta Academy and would inquire about attendance. We have traveled before and I believe you are aware of my unique position, though the circumstances of which do not directly align with many of those of similar ability. If allowed to participate, may I request a posted schedule, and list of topics so I may adequately prepare.
Thank you for your consideration, Evan Blake.

The Headmaster staged at the academy previously seems to actively support the activity in the school, as well as the holding of the lectures, and aids where he can if not coming in the way first.
The next lecture will be on Necromany and the manipulation of life-force.
As always, all are welcome to attend. Undead may be used or present given the nature of the lecture. Residents of the Living City may be in attendance.
Proper Methods of Undead Disposal will be the next lecture. Please note this lecture will necessitate the use of actual undead, and is intended for the non-divine, who need to know how to dispose of undead and do not have the blessings of the Gods to do it. As such it may be slightly dangerous.
// class tonight 8pm est. As I've told people it's mostly a low-level affair so don't expect shocking revelations about the nature of undead. However as always feel free to attend/hang out and offer thoughts/discussion, and I'll be on afterwords too so if you want to talk or request an on the spot lecture we can do that too.
Next discussion is a new one; Reasons for Undead Consumption.
The topic is academic in nature, no spells will be cast. It is intended as an open discussion for probable reasons wild, uncontrolled undead eat despite no reason to.
A letter is left at the academy for the 'Arch Mage' stating that the task was complete and the scrolls in question have been scribed. The Letter is signed by 'Ssin'

Every other day, a rare presence unveils itself on the grounds of the Lowlands Mage Academy; forth from the Bitter Coast stalks a lanky shamaness garbed in furs and leathers, her face adorned by a totem mask painted in stark red. Along her flank roams a large breed of Arctic Wolf, aiding in patrolling the borders and corners of the territory. They seem to be keeping a watchful eye out for the academy, and the Headmaster who leads it, should any harm come to the establishment.
Likewise, even at times accompanying the shamaness, the familiar blue clad ranger of Wharftown can be seen making occasional check-ups on the area. His gaze watchful for any harmful activity that could befall this in or around the academy.

A couple of rangers, or, a ranger couple enter the Academy, and have a brief look around. One of them may have been heard saying "She said they were upstairs, right?", before they make their way to the second floor. While upstairs, the two rangers shamelessly look at everything, including books, notes lying about, various plants, and anything else that catches their attention. Then they open a door and enter a room, frowning at what they see inside. Taking some time, they inspect what is contained in the cages and pens, and do their best to aid, if anything is amiss. The room is thoroughly inspected, as well as the notes and ledgers within, but nothing is taken... well, except there may be one toad missing, but who counts toads?

Indeed, some days later, the pair of rangers returns to the Academy, and after Garrick (NPC) shows off his fine wares, he is asked in a casual and polite way, about the nature of the kept creatures on the second floor.
//A few people were upset that I had 'claimed' this area when I already had a character in 'The Fort.' I stopped playing Kilmar for a few months to give anyone else a chance to do something with the area, and literally nothing happened, so I'll be moving back in, playing Kilmar again, and preparing lectures.
//Area is, was, and always will be 100% open and public.
Matthew asks around between the cart driver the explorer and the owner of the Delta academy about the ins and outs of the town and if they've seen any one suspicious as of late or any one come and go.
