Hi there,
pretty straightforward question: do the skill bonuses sfor subraces count towards prestige class prerequisites, or does it only add to the skill check rolls?

I believe they are counted as 'skill bonuses' which means they are added on after, like ability modifiers, and so are not counted towards PrC requirements. You need base ranks for those.

You're right about the skills bit I believe, but ability bonuses from subraces actually modify your base rank, after you hit the activator. Otherwise it would mess with your +12 ability cap.
