Alright so could someone please tell me sorcerers can't learn new spells from scrolls ?
Also, I noticed if you're pure wizard, in matters to keep up scribing scrolls to have more "spellslots", the DC of the scroll is not related to the caster level. Why? I mean, using a scroll per se is a draw back for wizards considering they are cost and take ages to be casted. But then they're not even worth in matters of DC ? That really makes me a sad panda.
Basically only scrolls worth to be produced are Mord (wonder if they're cap to the standard rolls too on Amia or they were modified) and GS.
It's just how Bioware made the game, not how the PnP game they based it on works. Each scroll is a preset item that spawns when you use the ability. Just like with potions and wands, the caster level for them is set to whatever it's set at (there doesn't really seem to be any rhyme or reason to it). Someone was talking about some way to fix it, but I think it took up too much server processor time or something to be worthwhile. Scribe scroll is useful for a few spells, for UMD characters, and to sell spells to other players. The NWN wiki has it listed what level scrolls will cast at here
