This is a build I always wanted to try but my stable of characters is humongous as it is. So, I figured I'd offer it up for poaching.
Race: Elf, pansy half-elves need not apply (though they would work, I suppose) Domains: Plant and Travel for all you Lone Wolves out there. Any Domains work, really.
Stat Requirements: Dex 13+, Wis 13+ Stat Recommendations: Wisdom 18 at creation.
Level 1-20: Cleric, all Cleric. Pre-epic Important Feats: Point Blank Shot, Rapid Shot, Weapon Focus: Longbow, Blind Fight, Extend Spell, Zen Archery Pre-epic Optional Feats: Maximize Spell or Called Shot
21: Cleric - Epic Weapon Focus 22: Cleric 23: Cleric 24: Cleric - Epic Mummy Dust, Great Wisdom 25: Cleric 26: Cleric 27: Bard - Armor Skin (Tumble Skills) -- Alternatively, you can go Epic Prowess for more AB and less AC. 28: Arcane Archer (Spot Skills) 29: Arcane Archer (Spot Skills) 30: Cleric - Greater Ruin, Epic Spot

So Cleric 27/Bard 1/AA 2 with Zen Archery? I'm curious, what does the AA add?
I can think of AA equipment (lifting OOC restrictions) and a +1 AB/Dmg to all arrows. A cleric probably won't need the AC. Imbue Arrow only works with Arcane spells, right? (I think you can cast a Fireball from scroll to imbue your arrows, though I'm not really sure if that works.) Mind you, I've never played an AA, so maybe the equipment is already worth it.
For domains, how about Elf? It gives the bonus feat Alertness, which never hurt anyone with Epic Spot.
There's also one thing that bothers me: You produce a high WIS (26) almost pure cleric (27 levels), so you could just be a caster ... You might add Silent Spell to the optional feat list to reflect that. It helps to fill spell slots, e.g. level 9 with Earthquakes, I was told once. But that also depends on what the actual domains have to offer and Max Spell is just very handy as well.
Regards Ts

Yes, unless it's a shared divine/arcane spell (I think, maybe). Imbue only works on unenchanted arrows, though, also. I'd be more inclined towards Cleric 27/Bard 2/AA 1 so you can max Discipline on the final level.

AA 2 is for the Imbue Arrow feat. Without it, you can't cast the spells from scrolls onto the arrows. And it's also the baseline for most RP where the fantastic AA arrows are passed on from character to character. The Arcane Archer arrows are actually roleplayed as techniques and not specific arrows. If you cannot imbue your arrows, you cannot use those arrows. You also cannot even prove you are an Arcane Archer at first level.
Basically you're doing this for the caster cleric capabilities plus your summon to be the frontline plus your volley of arrows (2d10 elemental + on hit for some).
I think Maximize Spell is more valuable than Silent Spell for a cleric. You get the full +5 to your buffs. But if you see more value in Silent, by all means.

Ah yeah I can see the RP hook for that. I've never done a less than epic AA so never realized people focused on Imbue being the key to passing arrows Though will Imbue Arrow even work on OnHit arrows? I thought it worked on base and +1-5 arrows only?

Imbue Arrow is your fireball arrow that you use to show people you are an AA. Using spells or scrolls on stacks of arrows is just something added on top of the feat.

Roger roger. I never had to do that on my AA, so had no idea hah. My dood was just accepted as one (though he was a few levels into AA already, maybe that was why).

Hold the phone.... you can use scrolls to imbue arrows? I didn't see that anywhere... but, it's cool! Scrolls of the spells listed in the classes and feats section or like flame weapon scrolls on stacks of arrows?

Yeah that's a nice feature because it makes AA more viable with not having to invest tons of Wiz levels just to cast the spells lol
You have to use the scrolls that are matching the spells listed on the sidebar in you want the different elemental effects.

I'm pretty sure that any means of casting the spell works, too. Wands, gear, trinkets.

Yup. As long as it's the correct spell, it doesn't matter how you cast it.
