I hope you all had a good Christmas guys but now it's back to important business!

*Please note I'm posting in stages due to dodgy WiFi and don't want to loose large post laboriously tapped out on my tablet lol*

I'm looking to get back into Amia and after some discussion with Aurora who plays Whurak I'm very interested in rolling a cleric of Gorm Gulthym.
Now I've rolled fighter clerics and knight commander clerics before but want to roll a more pure cleric this time so I'm thinking 29/1 cleric/rogue and I only want the rogue for the near mandatory tumble AC and UMD.

Now for some details about the Dwarf in front of the build so you can hopefully help me fill out the mechanics behind him.

Male Shield Dwarf who is a highly militant warrior priest (in the IC sense not the fighter levels sense) he is a champion of Dwarf culture and Dwarf honour who leads his troops the same way a space marine chaplain leads an assault on a chaos marine fortress!
He stands shield to shield with his fellow soldiers using his divine magics to ward his comrades against harm and imbue their attacks with the fury of the forge fires and where that proves insufficient to subdue the enemy he will unleash hell with powerful spells directly at the foe.

Not bothered about turning or smiting so much, hard to get sufficient free Charisma so divine feats not a priority either so whilst I'm aware of their use I do not expect to be able to field enough Charisma to make them efficient.
Nor is there much rp reason for much, if any Charisma given that he leads through example not extensive make up and wind in hair speeches!
To that end I propose as much Strength and Constitution as possible with respect to the following guidelines stats.

 Revised build :!:

Starting attributesStrength 12
Dexterity 8 (War Domain maxed Cat's Grace 13 for max plate AC)
Constitution 16
Intelligence 12
Wisdom 18 (26)
Charisma 6

Level 30 Skills
Concentration 33
Discipline 29
Spellcraft 30
Unallocated 9

Feats
Cleric 1 Toughness
Cleric 3 Extend spell
Cleric 6 Maximise spell
Cleric 9 Spell Focus Evocation
Cleric 12 Greater Spell Focus Evocation
Cleric 15 Craft Wand
Cleric 18 Quicken spell
Cleric 21 Epic Spell Mummy Dust
Cleric 23 Great Wisdom I
Cleric 24 Epic Spell Greater Ruin
Ranger 26 Epic Spell Focus Evocation
Cleric 27 Automatic Quicken Spell I, Automatic Quicken Spell II
Cleric 30 Automatic Quicken Spell III, Epic Spell Hellball

All attribute increases to Wisdom
Dwarf and War Domains for Cat's Grace and free Skill Focus Discipline feat.

:!: Build revised again as per Commie's suggestions :!:

With the removal of Rogue skill dumps was able to reduce INT down to 12 from 14 and this raise CON from 14 up to 16.

Substituted the Necromancy feats for Toughness and Craft Wand as they are crucial to the concept and also as a Dwarf the character lacks the racial bonus feat in any case.

The above revision of the revision does effectively remove the Dwarf from the front line and place him in the caster line but as I think about it this suits better to the concept.

defiantly start with 18 wisdom. low wisdom clerics just arn't that hot, given you can just cast a spell to be treated like you have 18 strength. 16 wisdom is far far far more painful then even 8 strength.

frankly, you might lose one or two ab over it, but having access to dozens of earthquakes and searing lights and whatnot will serve you better.

additionally take one ranger level in epic for a discipline dump and it gets you martial proficiency (so you don't need to take a feat for it) and it gets you a free epic spell focus, netting you two feats one of them an epic feat.

i'd drop imp crit as without weapon focus and greater weapon focus your to-hit isn't going to be so hot; you'll have trouble confirming crits.

Build revised, slightly less end Wisdom but far more utility and epic skills and spells very much worth the trade off I think?

Not a great build to level maybe but at level 30 pretty sick for general pve/pvp duties.

This is what I ended up doing with an auril cleric I have.

Class Race Cleric(29), Rogue(0), Ranger(1), Mulan

Abilies STR: 12
DEX: 7
CON: 12
WIS: 19 (26)
INT: 14
CHA: 8

30
Cl 01: Cleric(1): Extend Spell, Spell Focus: Evocation.
Cl 02: Cleric(2)
Cl 03: Cleric(3): Silent Spell
Cl 04: Cleric(4): WIS+1, (WIS=20)
Cl 05: Cleric(5)
Cl 06: Cleric(6): Maximize Spell
Cl 07: Cleric(7)
Cl 08: Cleric(8): WIS+1, (WIS=21)
Cl 09: Cleric(9): Spell Focus: Necromancy
Cl 10: Cleric(10)
Cl 11: Cleric(11)
Cl 12: Cleric(12): WIS+1, Greater Spell Focus: Evocation, (WIS=22)
Cl 13: Cleric(13)
Cl 14: Cleric(14)
Cl 15: Cleric(15): Greater Spell Focus: Necromancy
Cl 16: Cleric(16): WIS+1, (WIS=23)
Cl 17: Cleric(17)
Cl 18: Cleric(18): Quicken Spell
Cl 19: Cleric(19)
Cl 20: Cleric(20): WIS+1, (WIS=24)
Cl 21: Cleric(21): Epic Spell: Mummy Dust
Cl 22: Cleric(22)
Cl 23: Cleric(23): Epic Spell Focus: Necromancy
Cl 24: Cleric(24): WIS+1, Epic Spell: Greater Ruin, (WIS=25)
Cl 25: Cleric(25)
R 26: Ranger(1): Epic Spell Focus: Evocation, {Dual Wield}
Cl 27: Cleric(26): Automatic Quicken Spell I, Automatic Quicken Spell II
Cl 28: Cleric(27): WIS+1, (WIS=26)
Cl 29: Cleric(28)
Cl 30: Cleric(29): Epic Spell: Hellball, Automatic Quicken Spell III

It's plus one wisdom, so drop a spell focus for one great wisdom.

It's really slick.

Revised the revision with respect to the fact he is a Dwarf, see notes in OP.

when do you pickup auto-quicken 1

or am i just dumb?

also on domains; if you just get the +3 dex +5 ac boots which you can buy at a store, you're set. you can then just drink a pot of cats grace and even on a 1 max out your dex.

if that's the reason you want that domain, i wouldn't do it. aura of vitality though is very very good, and clerics don't have much competition for 8th level spells so just keep perma +4 all attributes.

other good domains you might be able to get as you're a dwarf;

cavern (S-tier domain)
travel (amazing if you get craft wand as you can make crazy money)
trickery (same as above)

Level 27, I listed it as "Automatic Quicken Spell II" but I have added the "Automatic Quicken Spell I" on that same entry now to make it clearer that the prerequisite has been purchased.

As for the rest, as a Cleric of Gorm Gulthyn it suits my guy to have the War and Dwarf domains and yes the War domain does handily fill the Dex gap and once at high enough level it wont be easily dispelled unlike a potion and this way I can save the gear space for something else.
Dwarf domain bolsters the Discipline dump as well as providing stoneskin, although I still have a way to go on gear to get it anywhere near a decent level for pvp.

I want to thank you for your help, it has clarified a lot of things and dragged the build away from a sub par melee Cleric to the purer Cleric build I originally wanted. :)
