Hey guys. Trying to think of a shifter build but I don't know much about them. I was thinking 5 druid/8fighter/17 shifter? For epic forms I was leaning towards undead or outsider. Or even having both but focusing on one and the other for rp fun and fluff. Starting stats is where I'm lacking. As I really don't quite grasp the merging of forms to natural abilities/a.c. Any input helps! Thanks! Pinky |

TBH: Shifters stats should be primarily WIS (Honestly). If you're going JUST undead form, however, you don't need WIS at all. Which means you can stack skills in INT (For Skill Points), DEX for base AC or CON. It really just matters on what your build is. Many Shifters do DEX and WIS. WIS = Shape, DEX = AC (Base) + Offers prestige Classes like Shadowdancer. But for your idea, if you go just Undead then WIS doesn't matter. If you go Undead + Outsider then you need 25 Base WIS to unlock the feat. Aside that the merging of attributes works like this: If you have 18 STR and shift into a Undead Risen Lord (EXP.) then you'll take its base STR of (X). We'll say base STR of 30. So all you need is STR gear to boost it higher, otherwise your base attributes only matter for multi classing or RP spice for your upshifted / natural form. |
