This? Positivism encouraged. This is something we've begun RP'ing IG. We intend on addressing this with Kohlingers, especially the ones we've met IG. HECTOR!
Goal: RP. DM or player driven. It's a Ball. An auction for items, as well as trade items, all monies will be donated to the good children of Kohlingen.
I think any player-driven RP initiative is awesome, best of luck with this one, and while my bard is not the most welcome figure in Kohlingen, do count on him for music if you do not have enough bards for that, please! He already visits the Salandran Orphanage weekly for cotton candy and song days with the children so that is right up his alley. Gianna knows him as well (Talas Volodymir).

// I think this is a great idea. Other places I've played had things like this now and then. It can be completely player driven, and if presented as a ball/auction, I can see some people being drawn to it for a variety of reasons. Characters present items for auction, the proceeds go to the orphanage. Then, we all dance and get drunk... sounds like a good time.
There' been plenty of good events like this in the past. Riddle challenges, balls, concerts, etc. All can be good with a little DM assistance. I say go for it.

I support this, especially if you use the old Copper Industries building in Kohlingen for it. It's even got a place for a ball up front, with auction stumps in the back.
