Nah nah. Try ol' Mystery Clock's homemade remedy. You'll need:

- Pillows
- A sturdy wall
- Red marker (MUST be red.)
- Willpower

Execution:

Place the pillows carefully around you, forming a perimeter of roughly 2mts of diameter. Trace an x on the sturdy wall. Then bang your head over and over against it, being -careful- not to miss the spot. Repeat as needed until you'll faint. Check if the server is online and/or if you have permanent head damage. If the answer to both is "no", repeat the process all over.

I think I'll sleep with Prince Valium instead.

No. It must be synthetic. Otherwise it won't manage to channel the vibrations coming from the stone structure into your skull. It's both a refined physical and biochemical process working in synchrony to make the grey matter contained in your head vibrate, not unlike a diapason, hence causing the proper, blissful disconnection from a world without NWN.

For a while there I thought I was starting to go into Amia withdrawal.....

....Then I realized I forgot to take my medication this morning....

Well, I just realized yet again that I can't have my current character take 10 PM levels pre-epic, so I guess I didn't waste time trying to level a +2 ECL race up before I realized this. I managed to overhaul some other builds too, so I've been pretty productive even if I'm still bored as fuck. I trimmed down to 5 characters now, so I'm reducing my alt-it is symptoms one step at a time.

I suppose I should muster up the courage to register for the spring semester.

Heh, I did some journaling, and researched how to get the Mummy Dust spell business going on, since I apparently have access to that level magic, but didn't get any spells. Now I know why, and get to start thinking about a slight rebuild, and how to decide what to get! XD

I hope they can fix it... and that our characters are still there. Has there been a big crash like this before?

There were crashes that lasted for 7 days. So just be patient. They've never let us down before, and they won't now.

Damn that is quite significant. Im sure they will have it soon though, the server has lasted all the way to now from its inception so it has to be pretty hardy compared to others. Will continue to monitor the situation.

At least the forums are working. There were times when both the server and forum were down for days.

Servers which are still up and running with players on them are rare. 90% of the servers i have scouted are either broken, deserted, or both. Others dont even exist any more... amia is one of the servers which has been and is doing well. Lots of dms, plenty of maintanence, and many players. I have yet to find a server which bests it that is not abandoned or broken. We are lucky to have it.

That is true the only other server I see that is still running is Arelith, but I can not bring myself to play there, because the way they made it was if you can run the spawns, your doing something wrong. I do like the food,water and rest system, it is a little too often for my taste personally, but the idea is cool, but overall they had beyond added unreasonable restrictions and what not on Arelith.

It would, but you would have to set the time to something more reasonable than every 15 seconds.

There are a few other servers still going i have found. Some are smaller others bigger but they were relatively large. Thay is up and running though playing a character of good alignment there pretty much ensures that you will be attacked and enslaved. The players there take great pleasure in rping Thay's evil nature and making good characters suffer gets them off like nothing else. :twisted:

Cormyr is still running and is a nice enough place if a bit boring. Argentum Regio plans to become the greatest server ever made but it is still under construction and is no where near ready. City of Arabel still works though i have not played on it much. And then there is Avlis, a server so big it lets you explore an entire continent split between 10 different sub servers. Oh and someone mentioned something about a server set in Sigil?

It is not the place to discuss about possible systems and what not... ... ... ...

... Though I do not believe myself that the rest/food would fit with what Amia is.
