Rather than being hidden within the "MAYDAY Server Crashed" thread, I feel this should be its own topic.

Issue effecting some players as of 6-25-2014:
- Unable to see and/or direct connect to Amia A or B.
- Able to ping server through Command prompt.

It seems several players, including myself, are having this problem.

My region: Southwest FL
ISP: Comcast

Please share thoughts on how to resolve and any successful workaround/fix.

Perhaps it will simply resolve itself upon next reset.

*I see there was already a thread dedicated to this, please ONLY post discovered fixes here for quick reference if the issue does not resolve itself.*

Able to connect to both, in Michigan on Comcast.

So, that's odd.

It seems to just be regional, but it cuts out different places at different times I think.

Murex is right. Looks like most of the people who were on just a few minutes ago got kicked off and can't access the forums or the modules, but now everything looks fine from my end.

The reset at 8:25 EST fixed it for me. Awesome.

Thread can be deleted soon now.

There was no reset then. My PC I was on earlier is in the same place she was when I logged out.

There were a bunch of players in the chat channel talking about a reset. I assumed there was.
I also believe that some types of resets will not cause loss of such information, and things resume 'as they last were'.

It is not regional i am having no problems while a friend in the same region is having much trouble.

And i don't know if a reset fixes things cause yesterday it didn't

It was bad internet weather yesterday, the Euro gate was down a few hours.

Now just relax and let the doctors put your special sweater on you while I give you this injection. Then you can get back to making crayon drawings with your feet.

I can log on B right meow, but if I try to log onto A either by direct connect, or via teleport or ships. Not sure what it is, but I just put NwN on a new comp.

Nothing to do with your new install. Just a buggy server

Having the same issue as of this post. Connection to A times out, but I can connect to B.

I doubt we can do much about that :(

For me, everything was fine last night. Now I can get to A but not B.

I didnt find any oddities enroute from me to Amia but Amia from Sweden is like: Sweden -> Frankfurt -> Amsterdam -> 185.29.200.0/24 -> 185.29.203.0/24 -> 185.29.203.11

I tracerted in reverse from the server and there was no problem with the return route either. But if there was a problem with the routes around the intermediate networks then we'd see. So there has to be a problem on the route to other people further away or in other directions.

I'll continue looking at it and see if I can figure something out. Also if you're having problems connecting to a server try connecting to the address instead of the IP, so:

amiaworld.net:5121 for A
amiaworld.net:5122 for B

It'll force nwn to resolve the IP from the DNS which could or could not help at all as being able to connect to A but not B sounds like a caching issue in remembering port routes which routes that might have changed. Restarting your personal router might help with NAT related issues too.

Cannot see nor direct connect to A.
