Post subject:  Shortcuts to start NWN straight to connect to server
Im having trouble getting this to work, im sure i used to have a modified shortcut which started the game without any of the annoying intro and gamespy stuff, it went straight to connecting to a server.. Anyone help?

NWN/nwn.ini ― add Disable Intro Movies=1 to the bottom. Then...

Windows/system32/drivers/etc

0.0.0.0 nwmaster.bioware.com
0.0.0.0 nwn.master.gamespy.com

Best solution. But...! If you insist on using shortcuts:

Add to the target command line: +connect 185.29.203.11:5121 and running the shortcut will instant connect you to Amia A.
Add to the target command line: +connect 185.29.203.11:5122 will connect you to Amia B.

Thanks, i had some other weird syntax in there that was messing it up.

This is added to the host file, by the way.

I am such an inept technerd I have no idea how to pull this off. Does this mean I have to add the address or do I have to replace the whole text with it?
EDIT: Hurrah! Figured it out. Forgot the space between the .exe and the +address, whoops.
