Hey folks! Ive bought a mouse with extra buttons... but the extra ones are not working on NWN... do I need to make some extra config on NWN's files... or it simple dont support it?

I'm fairly sure you have to configure your mouse in the settings option of your computer. I use a touchpad, so I can't tell you from experience.

Kesington Pro Fit... did not came with any driver... its plug and play and the extra buttons worked fine on other games without me configuring anything...

Is it working on any games as old as Neverwinter? And is it wired or wireless?

Oldest game ive tried was Mount and Blade Warband. The only other older games I have are so old that do not even need mouse to play XD

I've asked someone while on the server that also have a mouse with a lot of buttons and that one was not able to config the game to accept the extra ones, could only do so by using an external software from the mouse manufacturer. But well as i've said, mine don't have any extra softwares. Seems it most be because NWN is really old!

I imagine so. I can't find anything about configuring this mouse for use in older games or OS'. Sorry!

The game has to plan for the extra buttons when it is made, or they won't do anything by default.

I don't think you can open NWN itself and add functionality for those buttons. It's way beyond my paygrade if you can. But you should be able to remap the mouse buttons to something that is useful for NWN, with the caveat that those keys will ALWAYS be whatever you remap them to, or you have to make and use different profiles for different uses.

Remapping keys isn't as straight forward in Windows as it should be, but there are programs that make it easy. Here's a link with one: http://www.ghacks.net/2012/12/27/remap- ... n-windows/
