Hi guys, So, I've been having problems with my PC, which I hope are fixed after reinstalling everything. Now, it simply leaves me with a problem. I didn't get to save my most recent bio changes. (Sadly not screenshots either, but I'm a screeny-hoarder, so maybe that's good) Now I was wondering if I could get my characters' bio from somewhere. Any ideas? I mean, as far as I understand it, everything from my character except the journal is stored on the server vault. Can I use this to have a physical or external backup of their bios? While on the server, hit escape and Save Character. This will export a file of your current character to your local vault (C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition\localvault; or wherever your game is installed). This file will be a .bic file, which can be opened with a text editor (I prefer notepad++ for organizing sake). It will be named something like [firstnamelastname].bic. Search your character's name and their in-game description should be right after it on the first search. There's probably a program to sift through .bic files a bit easier, but I'm too lazy to look for it. |
