Tried casting Haven in a duel today, and then after the duel with Gerald Edmund for testing, and two things were noticed consistently:

1. Haven while someone is not hostile, and you will be visible to them. Hostile them afterwards, you are still visible, and they can even attack you. Tried this in a duel.

2. If you haven to a hostile opponent, apparently they cannot attack you, but they can still see you. Gerald could see me moving, and see me casting other spells, in the Tarkuul arena, even after I had hostiled him and then cast Haven (yes, we made sure to cast Haven AFTER hostile'ing.)

These both seem rather buggy.

EDIT: I just now dueled Gerald three more times and the following happened:

- When hostile, haven made me ethereal and hasted as intended. However, when I attacked Gerald with spells that damaged him including Searing Light, Hellball, and Hammer of the Gods, and Greater Ruin, Haven was not canceled, and I was still ethereal and hasted.

there's a transmutation page that handles this.

one option is regular invis but your summons stay

the other is 'higher' invis, but your summons desummon when you cast it.

it defaults to the 'reg invis/summons stay' version.

Are you sure that's for Haven, and not for Greater Sanctuary? Because I have the GSanc page in my book, but the Haven page would have to be a new addition since I took my break, because that's not how it used to work.

It also doesn't explain the behavior because Gerald didn't have See Invis or TS up at the time, and wasn't next to me, so he shouldn't have seen me even if I were invisible. And, if I were invisible but he could see me, he should have been able to attack me - but it prevented him from attacking me when I was hostile and then cast Haven. (Casting Haven before hostilling, but then hostilling, still allowed my duel partner to attack me however.)

I can't test it, I don't have a page of "Haven" in my book of transmutation. I don't think it exists.

It also isn't listed on the spell list as having a page in the BoT either.

It really doesn't.

And even if it did, I had cast it without a summon out, in every test.

UPDATE: Gerald and I just dueled each other again, and not only did Haven still not make me invisible to him even after we were hostile, but Greater Sanctuary also failed to make him invisible to me.

Neither of us could target each other directly, but we could see each other plain as day.

Both spells are glitched currently.

GS doesn't make you invis anymore, period. It just gives bonus health and speed for a short time afaik.

OK this is new. I just was dueling Gerald again, and now the behavior is:

- When hostile, haven made me ethereal and hasted as intended. However, when I attacked Gerald with spells that damaged him including Searing Light, Hellball, and Hammer of the Gods, and Greater Ruin, Haven was not canceled, and I was still ethereal and hasted.

I'm not sure WTF is going on but Haven is exhibiting very broken behavior lately.

Haven is being really weird, yeah. Haven will randomly work not at all, or sometimes work, or sometimes when you cast an offensive spell still not drop and not allow the caster to be targeted. This spell desperately needs fixing.

It seems to be mostly working now.

Perhaps the scripts were just bugging out temporarily.

Will test more soon.
