It wasn't her mountain, and it wasn't her people living on it or in its shadow, but they were familiar enough to do the trick. That Eldfell was awake, its molten core exposed and steaming in the frigid air, resonated with her. Constantly venting in lieu of explosion.

Elimane didn't think about it very much, she was simply drawn to the place. Close to home, in more way than one. The mine just north of Endir's Point had become her haunt for work and stone, using her particular style of quarrying to clear the rock from new veins of desired metals and minerals - none yet found, but that wasn't her concern. The plain ol' stone was what she needed for her own projects, regardless.

If not the rough, unworked tunnels of the mine, then the worked stone of the Frozen Hand monastery were often her shelter. She trained with them on occasion, seeking out the most practical-minded, and least philosophical of the adherents of the order to try and learn from.

Elsewise, it was the taverns in Chillwyck and Endir's Point that Elimane could be found slaking her hunger and bedding down after hours of labor - almost always when the establishments were at their least busy so as to avoid the day to the day interactions. No doubt this did little to earn her a positive reputation, but it was better than the alternative.

An incredibly simple note for Namers Tukson Devers at the Cordor Library before settling in to her new routine in Frozenfar;
Endir's Point

He looked over the note a long moment before summoning a docent. Dictating instructions for the staff, the master left enough direction for the Library to run without him for a short awhile.

He returned to the now empty house, most of the rooms barely used now that she was gone, a thick layer of dust smothering everything it touched. He selected three books from the shelf and smiled as he noticed one out of place and upside down, leaving it as is before leaving for the ship...

* * *

He stepped off the ship, his white and black kantlara fluttering in the frigid wind. If he was cold, the master didn't show it. Duffel bag hoisted over shoulder, he trudges through the snow to Ralten's Retreat...
