Skin changer Breaks wings

I used one of my skin changers teh gold dragon one and it took off my wings acp and cloak fixes did not work

should I request / could I get an alter self that just applies wings to self fix this?

Nah. Existing skin changers that store your original character information will just need to be redone so the new one can store your PC with the wings.
