Ly'nes's slow slide into savagery, though not high-profile, has been amusing to observe from a distance and a very refreshing bit of character development.

The rogue that everyone loves or loves to hate? Hard to know where he will show up sometimes, but always presents himself in such a way that it's hard to deny his presence. Motives? Well... while difficult to discern in some instances, Velden has actually done a lot of good for Amia and it's surrounds!

Casts Raise Dead for the wholesomeness of this thread.

Plays a myriad of characters (from what i've seen currently Romy and a new human that's popped up!), but you can always depend on solid RP with any of them. My favourite interaction so far was Romy being unhappy with the current merchant scene and decided to get into the business herself. Halfling determination!

Plays Puff the Magic.... Goblin? OMG, a gobbo with 40 cha? Always very helpful with technical stuff for Amians, and from what I've seen the kind of player that people in general want to be around!

Romy is a halfling who seems determined to provide a more affordable alternative to Amians than other PC-run stores. Which is admirable, I think.

Phyr has not been around to protect her sign therefore it's become public domain. Also hasn't been around to enjoy in the merriment of alcoholism.

Also had an interesting dialogue between my drow wizard and Phyr regarding the former's speech impediment which I don't get to touch on much in her usual RP! :D

Matthew has the floofiest wings ever.
He also is the character that I've seen most consistently to believe in redemption. A real praiser of the sun.

Ages ago they played Elisa Fryar, and while I vaguely remember knowing them I unfortunately can't remember a single thing about them or why I remember knowing them :( However more recently, they're known for bringing back one Lanerd Mc Stonefists, an ugly and gross mercenary of a vaguely Scottish nature. He's certainly hilarious though and fun to be around, with a very refreshingly straightforward and down-to-earth set of motivations which I for one can really appreciate!

Velden is a shadowdancer, and I love shadowdancers.

'nuff said

Also the player is not-so-secretly hilarious.

The many names of Raua, not so many as myself, but... yeah. I remember them early on on the server, and Cyrene is still kicking as I understand it. Then, the Tarkulian days, and now, well we don't cross paths so much, but I can say she's an amazing roleplayer, fun to be around, and creates memorable characters!

Plays Sylveera, quite possibly one of the more impressive character shifting arcs from where she started from to where she is now. Also needs to play their elf more and hang out with the current Winya group!

Also will never get their boat.

Ania Ania Ania! She's been a friend and ally to many of my characters, from Tristen, to .... Roach? A very longtime character that's always welcome in any fight, so long as she's on your side.

This reminds me... Roach should return.

Ania though... she's become a mainstay of Amian culture. That's saying something.

Plays Roach, a reformed (?) former (??) Tarkuul goer. Though I've not had the chance to run into this PC in game, her hatred for drow might make that encounter interesting, should it ever happen. Also the fact that the character has undergone some fairly major changes (based on what little I've read on the forums, mind) is a good sign, roleplay-wise!

I miss Arith. So does Kel'riia, in her own special way.

Phyrt'ana and Kel'riia know each other from a looooong long time ago, back before Ultrinnan fell. Since that time, my bard has never been quite sure how to act around Tana because - though they knew of each other - they really never got to know each other. After Ultrinnan fell, they somehow began frequenting the same circles at times, but never quite interacting much with one another. To this day, Tana remains a bit of a mystery to Kel, and one she's not quite sure how to unravel even now.

Sylveera has made lots of frenemies. But she does occasionally show a softer side and it's a real pleasure to see it when it happens.

Dragons... always dragons! I'm meant to pick a character and say what is good about them but that's hard, mostly because I forget names without visual aids! Needless to say, each dragon is unique and fun to interact with... in their own way!

I've see you play with many PCs and they are always very deeply and good made characters.

Now as it seems Roach is back on the game I have to say that she is a very intriguing character... and as with Jacob with lots of skeletons on her closet, but that's trying to move on and continue, even with all the harsh consequences of past deeds. And her work with paintings is something I find amazing heh!

Jacob has become like a father-figure to Sythea over the months that they've interacted. (For better and for worse)
Really though, I think she gets to see sides to him that not many others do, which Is yet another example of his fully realized character. He's a troubled man who's made many mistakes and a few unfortunate stumblings, but continues to do his best.

The Conjurer and his apprentice, it's been fun!

Sythea has this fascinating and hilarious dynamic as the long-suffering but good-natured apprentice, and I really appreciate the visible sense of a vibrant personality stuck in a less-than-ideal (but nonetheless worthwhile) occupation.

Velden is actually an okay guy, if largely questionable in motive. Ly, still doesn't like him but he is largely more tolerable to her since the horde stuff... she's even concidered talking to him and asking for help...

Mary was one of few, who could get a softer side out of Sylv, bit of a big sister character to her which probably many did not know.

I know Jhaeliria less than half as well as I would like to ("and I like her half as well as she deserves!") but I've heard she has an unusual open-mindedness for an orthodox-style drow. I interpet that as grounded in a refreshing degree of pragmatism, and as the third(?) daughter of Vilrath her industriousness speaks well of how she adapts to her station.

Lanerd is that big kid everyone likes. Kind of like a rocky teddy bear. With a temper. And an attitude. Okay, so he's not exactly all cuddly.

Elisa... only really interacted with her once, and all I can say is a guard should know an inn from a meeting place! :)

Roach taken so many shapes and forms over my time in my second "Era" on Amia. From Budly and Roach being enemies to Roach asking Sylveera trivial questions, I guess Sylv has not angered everyone around yet. The formerly known as Roach....Ah Rhoe! You crazy lady!

Barrililath as had some substantial character growth since rumbling down under (not Australia down under, the Underdark one. Australia is arguably the more dangerous of the two though and has more spiders).

Where at first she was just an annoying, chaotic stupid pain in the ass to deal with and the archetypical trap that many evil dragon disciples fall into, we are starting to see the more cunning and analytical Drow elements of her personality resurfacing. This has led to a more dynamic shift in her cooperation with the other Underdark elements and as a result has entrusted her with not only more complex, but more sensitive tasks that impact the direction of our piece of the ongoing narrative.

Budly, good work with this character growth. Despite our timezone differences, I will eagerly continue to watch as Barri progresses into a fundamental element of the Underdark scene.

Sylveera is a character that might be seen as just an angry elf, well... She is, but there is so much more going there that miss the whe.

Budly was one of my fav hins, grumpy but loyal to his cause no matter what.

Where to begin? I mean, everyone knows Jacob is a rich and developed character with solid years under his belt, but what really impressed me is his shrewdness. Even though he's definitely on the shady side, his sheer pragmatism means he has the respect of characters on both sides of the alignment spectrum. It makes him a tremendous asset but a dangerous foe, if you should happen to wind up on his wrong side - you just can't afford a single false move against him. When my character strategises in the same field, there's just never a sense that he can take Jacob lightly.
