I've been trawling back through the server rules for telepathy, and I understand using it is banned. I was interested in RPing a hin that still upholds their vow of silence, given their guilt following the Hin Ghostwars. The telepathy was introduced to make PnP games easier, effectively. So the halfling could still communicate with the party. So far I've been RPing my character has a racial form of a sign language, much like drow-sign. As there's no telepathy... I was curious, if anyone knows of any established fluff on Amia regards this, so I can incorporate it? I'd rather maintain a continuity, if that makes sense. |

I don’t know of any fluff but there have been characters over the years who have been silent or communicated only in gestures. |

Yep. There have been mute characters that have communicated solely through emotes. Hand gestures are enough to get basic ideas across. PC's with Charisma and/or ranks in Perform, Bluff, Persuade, or Intimidate could probably convey more abstract concepts by adding in facial expressions and physical cues. |

Persuasive Sign Language sounds incredible. . . But! Point taken, I'll consider it. Thanks for the responses guys. |
