So... I know how much people love to collect stuff (some at least).

I will soon tweak the lootbins a bit, especially the lvl 1 + 2 bin to make the items a. abit more useful and b. sell a bit better. I will not change the names/bios, just adjust the items so not much needed here.

One nice idea that came up was make some collectible statues (that also sell for a decent gold price tho)! So you can either collect, trade or sell them.

Now all those statues are supposed to be NPC of Amia. I would like to see some suggestions of NPC you would want in there. If you feel fancy and want to submit a bio idea too, more than welcome.

These will be the "in for sure" (if someone wants to try on a bio for those, also welcome).

In which lootbin they get in will be defined by the material and hence material value.

So far list:

1. Platinum Imperator
2. Obsidian Myrk
3. Ruby Infernus
4. Emerald Forestgloom
5. White-Gold Icing Death
6. Brass Morningdew
7. Onyx Deepeningdoom
8. Copper Rockhopper
9. Golden Arcanos
10. Black Opal Aurichon

11. Diamond Justicar Marinsbane
12. Silver Sal'dock
13. Sapphire Duke Montgomery
14. Iron Jarl Arsant
15. Garnet Paush
16. Mithril Adavar
17. Adamantine King Heganbor Crownshield
18. Ebony Lord Hallstein Ă˜vind
19. Canary Diamond Tristana
20. Aquamarine Naiad of Kohlingen

21. Sandstone Si'neela Akuum
22. Dark Steel Kraven the Black
23. Bone Blackmoore
24. Greenstone General Nof
25. Crystal Sir Mark Dorne
26. Red Jasper Terzaroch
27. Granite Law Knight Lawson
28. Amber Minister Godric
29. Marble Hil'rash
30. Quartz Law Knight Alice Dearing

31. Black Jasper Paz'kole
32. Aventurine Griff Arnemen
33. Limestone Garth Arnemen
34. Cedar-Wood Roarik Bathrie
35. Hematite Vilmandel

Nine dragons! Make it an even ten and include Aurichon! He was the leader of the Dark Flight, a black dragon. Arguably more important or scary or involved than even Infernus. His death in the trap placed in the Temple of the Triad in Kohl was one of the coolest things ever. :D

Hm he could be a possibility. Though he is only a merchant and not that high a personality when if comes to the drive of Amia.

Vodak was another who came to my mind. Or maybe the Host of the Triumvir.

Trying to remember if there were any notable drow NPC on Amia, alas, I never was much of an Underdark player.

Griff and Garth Arnemen (do we only want dead ones?)

Kraven the Black

Sineela

Ma'at / Anubis

Ais the Lich

Hm... do you have a little info for me for the bio about thatone?

And nah, dead or alive does not matter that much. Tristana is still alive too! XD

I mostly feel that the collectibles should give you a chance to learn a bit about Amia history. Wether you sell them to a Vendor later or keep or trade, doesn't really matter. You could find them and you could learn some IG, if you wanted!

Some ideas! Not sure how many you're going for.

Vilmandel
General Nof (let's get some hin history!)
Cluckzilla
Bill Hurst (everyone hated that guy)

I echo Hil'rash also. One of the first merchants (and also mainstay) people meet for the Amian adventuring community.
Guston. That guy's been ferrying people for gods know how long.
Maybe make variant versions of the Road Wardens also (e.g. Tin, Copper, Bronze, Iron, Silver, Gold etc. as a set)
I'd also suggest Roarik Bathrie made out of some form of wood.

You could have a Netherese Wannabe God set, Karsus, Eriador, Reyes, I think there was another in the mix too.

This is going to be Amia (+islands) specific only. So no canon D&D NPC and no deities (we have the rings already there).

I am an emphatic "no" on Cluckzilla. Please let that part of Amian history die forgotten. >_>

Basically, Ama will put a bunch of misc items in the lootbins that are worth some cash if sold to a NPC merchant, but otherwise are only trophy "collectibles" items. These items will be themed around specific NPC characters - for example you could find a "Hil'rash Statue" by killing a goblin and that item would have a description of who the NPC is (maybe a bit of his background, no idea).

Most of those npcs are absolute total unknown to me, Saya not being part of the hip-gangs and thus pretty much never ends up meeting them, so I'm glad they are at least worth some money :D (and perhaps other players will want them).

It's about learning the server's history! If you don't know anything about the names listed, then these collectibles are actually aimed at you.

Post subject:  Re: Collectibles!

Okay I added some and am at 35 now.

I think 40 would be a decent number, 10 for each lootbin (not in the "steps" listed so far it's just very random blocks of 10 now).

So I would have room for 5 more.

While more of the old Cordor characters are a possibility, I held back on this for now, in case we have some other suggestions still (seeing we have a lot of Cordor characters already).

Hmm, what if this was a quest, to find different sets of statues based around a quest giver within said faction. You could have a kohiligen set to be gathered, and a tarkuul set, perhaps a bendir set, a cordor set, and other things along those lines. Perhaps they could even give a badge for completing their quest, so Wilfire and his motley crew have some to brag about in the dale.
