Word on the street from the Cordor Orphanage states that the institution, responsible for taking care of parentless children, was recently robbed by people claiming to be Talonites. Perseverance, one of the Salandrans who looks after the children, said several disguised men and a woman entered the place and stole millions in donation money after tying them up and threatening to kill the children if they resisted.

Later though, other witnesses from South Cordor have spread word that some men claiming to work for the infamous Boss Miller slew the thieves in search of the gold they'd stolen, to return it to the orphanage. They also reported Miller's men claimed to be working under legal jurisdiction, and that the same men also stated the robbers were Black Flag members, not Talonites. Regardless, just over half the money reportedly taken in the robbery was returned to the Orphanage by an anonymous party, though hints were given that Miller was responsible.

Word spreads in South Cordor from possibly greased palms that it was not in fact the Black Flag but actually Boss Miller's gang who had taken the gold and killed them when they tried to stop the situation. "An injustice to our fair protectors" some say and "A shame someone would pin such a travesty without accepting their own fault" from others.

In response, the Flag gathers goods and donates 100,000 gold to the orphanage as well as offering babysitting services.

In the momentum of giving, the Flag also gives food and strong drink to the locals as a sign of their good will.
