--> The night caps off with a Hearthside Bardic! Open to all that come...all stories must pertain to fertility, Spring, New Beginings, Hearth Lore and the Like. A custom carved instrument will be awarded to the finest tale spun about the Hins Little Mother, Yondalla.

Amaelis squeals in delight at the notices. "Ooh, a party!" Eyes widening, she clasps her hands hopefully together over her chest. "And ...maybe there'll be some shopping! What'll I wear?!" She dashes off suddenly, seemingly headed north of the Dale. "Briiiiiii! Na'! Shoppity time!"

Lyle scratched his head, briefly wondering if he should attend, given his lack of devotion to Yondalla. Then again... if this was open to everyone, he supposed he should be around to appropriately punish any potential troublemakers. As he hobbled off to his board, he began to plan out the notice he would write, to request Fist attend for 'security' reasons.

Lisselle the Purple Fey see the post as she visits Bendir Dale to shop and jumps excited.. Yay!!! Party!!!

Jen thinks it sounds fun, but decides to have a talk with Egan and Nick about being signed up to give lessons without anyone talking to her.

*Loki can be found advertising that "Loki's Fine Brews" shall be setting up shop at the festival featuring all his new drinks, as well as the Bendir Dale Hard Apple Cider that he dedicated to the town and uses THEIR apples to make.*

A new addition, if it works out in testing tis weekend...

Ridge Running
A Hin game from the Valley Of Luiern. This is the national sport for Stronghearts.

Brief description:

2-4 teams face each other and must complete a course (around the Dale in this case). Think roller derby. You have your runner, your blockers, and your Mojo man (magic)

The runner must complete 3-4 laps...first one wins.

The blockers can attack other runners or defend their runner (3-4 blockers)

The Mojo man (can be a woman) can cast as he wills. Each Mojo man can cast three spells before the run begins. During the run, they must stay near there start and can cast at will.

Upon reading the ridge runner rules and information, Lyle looks down at his peg leg with a small frown, and hobbles back to his post.

*Thistlefoot skims the notice*

"free blessin's... Thistlefoot's Creations? *chuckle* some gamblin'... dancing lessons? *chuckles again* ohhh! Egan's cookin'! *subconscously puts a hand on his tummy* le's see 'ere... storytellin & singin' & wassis? ahh Ridge Runnin' I 'eard o'that never seen it tho. Well sure looks to be a dandy time! Bound to be some pretty lasses about too."

*walks off whistling*

A short message is left in Bendir, written in bright blue, the i's dotted with smiley faces and occasional hearts.

To celebrate, I wish to donate an adorable little dagger to the winner of one of the games of chance, in Tymora's name. It is one of the nicest daggers I've ever seen, and would make the perfect accessory for some lucky hin!

I can be reached via Speedy's to make arrangements for donating this lovely dagger.

Lyle, upon seeing the dagger donation (and just managing to not squeal from delight) he send a letter via speedy's to Amaelis, to discuss the dagger, as well as who it should go to.

Reading the letter she received in response to her declared donation, Amaelis nods thoughtfully, pursing her lips slightly as she contemplates what was said. She then travels to visit the idol of Tymora, spending a bit of time before it in prayer. If any pass close enough to her, they might overhear a whispered request for guidance.

Lyle, after returning from Cordor, hobbles up to Bemmi, a poster clenched tightly in his hands. He offers the poster to Bemmi with a light-hearted smile. "Ye think ye could whip up some o' these fer us? Jus' normal ones, no' th' gnomish kind. Tha' idiot got me hankerin' fer some."

Amaelis sends a message to Bendir, asking that an additional notice be added to those for the Hearth Festival. The notice is written in a cheerful violet-toned ink.

All hin planning to attend the Hearth Day Celebration, please leave your name with Jayek ~before~ the day of the Celebration. A random drawing will be held at the start of the Festival, and the winner shall receive a wondrous dagger in reward. Late submissions will not be accepted, sorry.

Na'yann comes for a visit again and speaks to Jayek about decorations. She asks if it would be welcome if she used a faerie fire spell again to have some festival looking light decoration for the day.

"Ooooooo, a new dagger would be lovely! Oh! I wonder where that ink came from too!"

*submits her name*

*Biddle spots the notice & reads, & draws his dagger off his hip, looking at it for a few moments, before carefully reading again*

"Well...tha'd be grand!"

Jen grins and submits her name in a similarly brightly-colored, purple ink, and, after a moment of thought, submits a second name as well:

With a grumble he heads from the Dale to make a round, a part of him, just a part hopes his round won't be quiet. The mild agitation he felt moments earlier melts away as he walks beside the apple orchard, the hints of a grin returning beneath his whiskers. " I wonder what kinds of eats they got cookin' up..."

*Mayor-General Nof sits next to his missus and looks happily into the hearth fire*

Aye a gloriouse festival it was...! Fine stories, flowing mead, plates of grub and lots of friends...new and old! Heh...it were grand to see so many Hin...*smiles with pride at the sight*

The Drow lass, Na'yanna, made some mighty fine lights.

Hope that Gnome Bard comes back, Milow Blimfrik I think it was...fine tale he wove and that Chandler's Poetry were top notch.

*sets his feet near the warm fire and lays his hands across his ample belly*
