Word is spreading about the isle of yet another disease-infested animal attack. This time, it was the Salandran and Kelemvorite temples that were hit. Rumor has it that some variety of large rats were used, instead of kittens as were before. What this means, no one is quite sure. What is certain though, is that the rats were infested with an even more dangerous disease than the previous attacks: a variation of the dreaded Mummy Rot.

There were also reports of combat around the Kelemvorite temple, regarding someone who was attempting to sneak out or in. Weather this person or persons were associated with the rat attack is up to debate, it is known that a sizeable force of heavily enchanted adventurers were sighted nearby, and reportedly seemed to be making ready to attack the Kelemvorite temple on the heels of the rodent raid.

Those who visit the temple in the coming days would notice clear evidence of a massive magical assault unleashed right in front of the temple being repaired by groundskeepers, and the Kelemvorites are speaking of having driven off a force bent on attacking them, though pursuit was suspended in the need to aid those who had fallen.
