As of late an increase in military presence has been seen within Cordor, and some strange activity alongside.
Cordor South is becoming home to a few stationed members of the Cordorian Elites, watching streets carefully and waiting for the first signs of trouble - patrols, likewise, have become much more frequent.
Cordor East, especially in proximity to the Commonwealth Palace, has suffered from some buildings being 'cleared out' - residents being moved to the Cordor West district. The buildings are rapidly secured; having their windows fitted with iron bars, primary doors strengthened and locked, and large crates of materials being delivered inside by Militia personnel.
Cordorian Officials, when asked, simply reply that it's in regards to advertised threats against the Commonwealth and its Military Forces.
Parahexavoctal begins to steer clear of the Commonwealth Palace and it's associated outer holdings. If asked she will simply complain about the amount of Iron there now.

*Vaylek and his posse steers well clear of any patrols. As they approach, he either slinks into the shadows or blends in with the local populace at the Tall and Short aswell as the thugs of South Cordors alleyways*
// so we should RP that there is a guard on every corner of Cordor South, and some in the sanctuary? I've kept up mischief in the south on the premise of WYSIWYG...

(( not on every corner, but there's stationed troops regardless and patrol. Disco will hopefully add them next update. ))
Cordor once again knocks up its security, Law Knights showing up to respond to the increased, advertised and obvious threats to Cordor and its people.
When asked, Guards speak casually that the Horsemen are once again making their appearance, and that a new group called the "Butchers" is trying to form - two things the Guard intends to put a thorough stop to.

An old man can be seen speaking with anyone that will listen about a certain group of thugs who named themselves the butchers trying to remove his toungue with acid. namely ranting at the guards. this includes rough descriptions of what he could tell of the so called butchers, and describing them using a tactic of one telling him that his son has been stabbed, then calling him over to the so called scene of the crime.

* an note is sent to the Cordorian Guardsman*
We have information about this "butcher" group and would like to turn it over to the Cordorian Government, including names.
Send a note to Mr. Bond, at Speedys, and it will reach me.
-Mr. Bond.

Cordor, notably, has been completely locked down - any and all individuals passing through have their identities checked, details taken, and thorough searches performed.
Every home searched, every corner checked, and every street patrolled regularly as Cordor steps up the ante against a foe that seems to escape its grasp - for now.
After being utterly man-handled by the routine checks performed by the guards, Yas'da walks through Cordor with a somewhat curious look on her face.
"Well... Amaith isn't leaving the room. That's for sure."

Jack stands fully upright, arms out straight and legs spread. The guards carried out their seventh check on him for the day as he went back and forth through the districts. He began muttering as one of the rookies patted him down.
"One more signature and you'll have another helping you out..."
An upper body search revealed several cigarettes stuffed with "Questionable Herbs". The seargent leading the check point looked the stuff over, mumbling amongst his comrads. Jack sighed a bit and held his hand out.
"Some stuff the Caravan use to sell. It's legal, else the ones stationed at this check point earlier would have taken it up."
They handed the cigarettes back. Jack took one, placed it in his mouth and walked off.

Tuomas as he passes through seems nervous, but is very compliant and respectful of the Guards as he makes his way from the Monolith, through to the Cart north of town.

*Zanthair, returning to Cordor after a long hiatus, is subject to a very long search, being a drow, and one not well known. Of course, he is in possession of a signet ring, and is eventually cleared to pass, but not without complaints of a fey which flutters around his head*

Weston is hardly riled when he's stopped by thee Cordian guard. Giving a name was easy, showing off a few boxes of pressed herbs was fine, and assuring he was with Salandra's temple seemed to make things go a bit easier. Maybe the last part was in his mind, however, as they still detained Weston long enough to double-check if, and why, he was noted in any Cordor Guard notes.
But he's let to pass and seems undaunted as he chuckles: "Cordor alright."

A young blue haired girl sighs heavily as, yet again, she's stopped at a checkpoint. When asked to show her identification and packages she begins the tedious task of showing the packages from Speedy's. The guards question her about her reasoning for the deliveries and the packages involved. The girl explains, once more, that she's really down on crowns and is trying to increase her funds. The guards chuckle to each other and send her on her way. As she walks away, a shadow follows her, moving with her through the checkpoints.

Christophan Warrick seems to compliantly respond to any order the guardsmen give as he makes his way about the city. He seems only to remain more observant and vigilant in his own conduct and does not outwardly make any comments about the guard activity increases.
Raz grumbles as he is patted down then his eyes narrow as they run their hands over his secret stash of herb. One guard looks to the other and says " Oi I think Ive got somethin ere" Come one you Lizard dog thing hand it over"
Raz reaches in his robes and pulls out a couple of pounds of illegal narcotics. "Dis means Raz goin to jail...again?" *sighs*
##last night in Cordor a number of buildings were broken into including the Orphanage ... the thief managed to get away with over 1,000 gc. A guardsman interupted a burglar in perhaps a seperate instance in the southern quarter, however the thief fled using invisibility of some form or another##

On her way to the boats in South Cordor, Dierdre Bronach is stopped by a pair of guards that demand to check her belongings.
Dierdre makes the mistake of calling the guards "common filth," as they attempted to search. She spent the night in jail in just her knickers, enduring hoots and hollers from cell mates.
