In Fortress Wiltun on festival day, preparations are worked on even before the dawn. It is an exciting day for many as the horses from Ottar are exercised and trotted, and indentured servants and prisoners are put to work taking jousting lists to the ships, and gathering there with the contingent of Iron Guardsmen to move and install them in Foirinbridge. Furniture and decoration are set up, and refreshments prepared in the Keep kitchen, and the kitchens of domestic houses around Caraigh and the fort.
The barbarian Jarldom of Nerth arrives by sea, bringing with them their strongest warriors and boasting their war hounds. They bring rich gifts for the Jarldom, especially for the beautiful young Oilanna, as tribute for holding the journey this season. The items are all thoroughly inspectes, however, by order of Master Parrico--claiming to check for ship rats.
The Jarldom of Axard also arrives with their best warriors, appearing to be more supple men and excellent archers and bringing with them hunting hawks and other raptors and birds of prey. It seems both Nerth and Axard intend to do some leisure hunting while in the Jarldom. They also provide Oilanna and the Jarldom with rich gifts.
The Iron Guard and some Wiltun Guard work together to secure the Foirinbridge, reinforcing it against undead and employing some local wise women to use some charms to supposedly repel undead.
With everyone coming from off island and out of the Jarldom, there are also many... camp followers--beautiful women and wenches for hire, it would seem, offering good prices and setting up small tents along side the festival lists and tables, serving mead and a little something extra to those who ask for it.
((The event will start after 5pm EST))

The First Knight of Wiltun had not been seen within the fortress since the early hours of the morning. Guards reported seeing the knight take the first pre-dawn ferry to the isle of Caraigh, a wrapped stack of lances resting over his shoulder. He did not leave before leaving explicit instructions with one of his squires, Card, to awaken his son so that both boys could attend him on Caraigh for their morning training session at dawn and for the competitions to take place that day.
The knight had spent the early hours of the morning meditating just outside the southern settlement, having plunged the jousting lances into the dry sands of Caraigh's sparse beach. The knight extracted his lances some time later completing the ritual he had begun just yesterday morning. He was satisfied with something, and, after meditating over them, he applied the finishing touches with lacquer and varnish.
As the Lathander's orb made the first leg of its trek across the sky, the boys, wearing their finest liveries, approached their Lord as he greeted them each with a smile, nodding towards the coastal road to Foirinbridge, "This will be a good day."

One of the wardens at least, would offer her assistance through the early morn to those setting up matters. Rather than dressed in uniform, she adopted a more simple garb and didn't force her assistance, but simply moved around to seek out any whom might look to need a helping hand. It was all done with a friendly smile and without complaint on her behalf. Water, or some simple rations offered to the more frail or toiling members.
She would spend most of the day assisting in this matter out of preference, rather than active participation in the days events if allowed. Unless, of course, duty or superiors beckoned her elsewhere.

Salyesi would observe the First Knight from a distance, perhaps trying to figure out what this -Noble- is all about?. Who is this man in which Tristen has sworn his loyalty?

When not training, a young paladin in blue, gold and silver colors can be seen walking around the said area with a holy sword in his hand, making sure that there are no undead present.

After some paperwork at the Keep, Tristen would make his way to Foirnbridge in Caraigh. Still in his Warden Uniform, and, no smell of alcohol on his breath, he strides toward the Festival and Tournament grounds. Once he arrives, he lends a hand to those working, whether with the heavy lifting or just offering a friendly smile. After some time, he would head off to a quiet corner.
