*Rumors soon spread about a large fire that was blazing in the farm fields of North Cordor. With the effort of a mage and a lone ranger Crow, the fire was put out though the damaged to the fields was done. All the crops had been burned to a crisp along with a few farming tools. Along with the fire a poor Market Gardener was murdered, stabbed in the back by some sort of short blade. No other witnesses were around to comment on the foul deed, though it was discovered that the fire was set by exploding fire traps. Whomever created this fire and murdered the Gardener is now wanted by the authorities and anyone with information leading to his/her arrest should come forward immediately*

Exiting Market Hall, Crow hears the alarm bells, and sees the smoke rising in the north, so he runs towards the potential danger (who does that?). Upon seeing the spreading fire near the Rusty Hoe tap house, the the ranger assists by making use of a special elemental wand, dispersing its charges into the blaze, and flooding the area with water. Once the fire has been dowsed, and the threat of spreading has been eliminated, the ranger bends to inspect the body of the slain woman, determining her cause of death to be a short blade. Well versed in field healing, the ranger tries to tend to her major wounds, before attempting to Raise the gardener with a scroll, but unfortunately, she was too far gone, and the spell failed. As a Cordor guard takes the slaughtered woman to the Salandran Temple, Crow informs the Law Knights that he will seek the assistance of the druid's Grove, for land reparations, and he sets out to do so, post haste.

The ranger returns, spade in hand, and he enters the burned field. He proceeds to chop up the burned plants, and turn the soil over, as best as he can. After a few hours of labour, the man goes to the idol of Chauntea, and lays down a ring, then whispers a prayer before he heads off.

Another fire breaks out in Cordor, this time striking at the blue skies academy. Thankfully, it was swiftly put out due to the local mage guards and the alerts from the bard Andrew Fryar and the moon elven woman Kildera. The latter is seen taking care of the children. After everything settles down, children and nurses are seen walking to the lathanderite chapel.
