With autumns approach, the winds around Amia have picked up. Minor rainstorms are common and the roads are muddy. Most of the commoners, if work does not force them out, prefer to stay indoors, already getting started on some of the repairs and the like usually done in winter. Many a hatched roof in places like Bendir Dale and Ceyren's Mill is hastily repaired to withstand this constant assault. In paved cities, the streets are often flooded when the drainages can't keep up with the flood of water coming down, making walking without high boots a rather uncomfortable affair.

A worse then usual storm rages over the middle part of Amia, lightning striking trees near Bendir Dale, the rain turning roads to mud. On it on it rains, the locals collecting in the inn, telling stories and warming up near the fire. Hours later, the storm lets up. This time however, rumors start to circulate on the cause especially after a group of adventurers is seen heading out to investigate.

A certain winged elf would declare that the Bendirians may have offended Aerdrie Faenya, and thus should tread carefully! Rest assured, for she was also certain that despite the Winged Mother's mood being anything but good, it would pass soon.
