Mephits dropping a raining wizard on Bendir borders, only to be saved by a winged copper kin was what started all of this. Or rather, two distinct mages adventuring to the Skull Crags for some risky thaumaturgical business had led them to be separated. A group of adventurers: two Halflings, a black bard, and an elf, decided to aid a young wizard in saving his damsel in distress- a blonde sorceress. Unfortunately, their arrival was most inconvenient, as she was no longer there! There were clues about a certain group of 'knights' having already paid the mephits with treasures for this particular damsel.

Rumours circulate around Cordor about a powerful wizard bearing the insignia of a black ivory tusk staying in the Nomad Inn. Whilst it may have been a trip to see his son, the young wizard, other intentions are yet to be known. One night shouting can be heard in a room concerning this 'damsel', the sound of the father wizard scolding his son. Something was mentioned about the wrath of the 'White Swans' and a fierce 'rivalry'.

There is still uncertainty about what really happened to the sorceress. Some say the group of knights were hired to bring her back home, to the 'White Swans', whilst others may think that the young wizard lost her to a group of questionable people. Whatever it is, this has yet to be fully uncovered.

Whilst things continued to bustle on Amia, a purple garbed wizard of Halruan origins, bearing the insignia of a black ivory tusk, continued to stay in The Nomad Inn alongside a silver armored man. The wizard appeared rather friendly to those who greeted him, whilst the armored man was more serious and quiet. Sometimes the armored man would travel with a group of other knights bearing a blue seven-star insignia, calling themselves 'The Guardians of the Weave'. After a group of adventurers aided them in confronting a hag near Cordor's East Swamps, there was news that they brought abusive magic wielders to justice and wanted to make sure magic was in safe hands, working closely with other trustworthy magical communities.

On one eventful day, thick red clouds formed above the skies of Guldorand. A group of adventurers traveled to the mountain town to see what the fuss was about, coming across a group of white and red garbed sorceresses known as the 'White Swans'. They had seemed to cause quite a hassle, appearing as the culprits of the upset bugbears in the mines and the reason for the change of heat around the area. After the adventurers aided a sorceress in her business down the mines, whatever had happened there lead the thick clouds to be dissipated and the heat to neutralize. Rumors had circulated about the White Swans apparent beauty, although others speculated they were nothing but trouble.

At the news of the Guardians making an unannounced visit upon the isle, a certain seat within a certain temple finds itself momentarily and grudgingly vacated.

On a fine evening, a purple garbed wizard calling himself Zoya and the known swordsman companion Russel was seen carrying a peculiar and large painting to the adventuring guild in the Rusty Tap Hoe. The painting consisted that of dolls in an eerie town of doll-houses and castles. Aside from the fancy golden lacing border of the painting, what stuck out most was the dolls moving in the painting. Word had spread about a group of adventurers going inside the painting. The local workers at the Rusty Tap Hoe would spectate the scene from the painting, watching the brave heroes battle dolls, explore through trapped doors and figure their way out of the maze that is the painting.

Rumors had spread that Zoya's son was trapped inside by another mage clan, the same group of sorcerers that caused some disturbance in Guldorand a few days back. There were split views on the matter. Some common folk in Cordor and Guldorand would have a cynical view of these mages claiming they're all just a bunch of trouble, whilst others would support either side. Some common opinions were "just because the white swans are beautiful" or "the black ivories are less arrogant".

A high ranking official of 'The Guardians of the Weave', who some might have known to work with the White Swans, had come by one evening to the adventurers guild. Word had spread of a group of adventurers working together to deal with Sharrans on a desolate island. A commoner mother and daughter in the Rusty Tap Hoe would tell their story of how the guardians and some of the adventurers rescued them from a dungeon against a cruel high priestess of the dark faith. Others spoke of an innocent old man slain due to poor actions made. Whilst the rivalry continued between the two mage clans, especially with the recent events of an apparent coup in the White Swan territory, others wondered how this group of 'ethical' warriors will deal with the ongoing conflict between the two houses.

After a night at the arena, word would catch around that 'The Guardians of the Weave' that had came to the island were not the 'knights' many had thought them to be. There would be talk of such a 'pretend' or 'false' group stealing powerful and magical artifacts. Others assessed that they were radicalized or that there were darker influences involved. Whatever it is may have sparked some thought of impending danger lingering across Amia. Yet no one knows for sure after the most recent events that have occurred.

As time passed, there was no longer a presence of the false guardians. It was rare to see a black ivory or white swan mage, otherwise, there would be no job listings or calls for help from the adventurers guild from either of the two houses. Two young adults, a black ivory wizard and a white swan sorceress, would occasionally travel across the lands, holding hands together. They'd often visit the roads to greet some adventurers they knew and thank endlessly for the efforts pulled in during their time of turmoil over the recent tendays.

All seemed quiet and peaceful coming from these magicians.
