Things in Cordor are pretty rough by now, the city mostly evacuated, those that are left preparing for a siege. A Shipment of much needed food was meant to be arriving from the island of Caraigh, however the ship is days overdue. Rumours are rife and include many suggestions, some say that they fled to the mainland, some say they were attacked by pirates, others say that a monster reached up from beneath the waves and snatched the ship dragging it to its doom below. Calmer heads suggest more mundane solutions, delays due to damage or lack of wind.
However, with a large storm sweeping in between the Islands of Amia and Ruathym, only one thing is clear. The Drake’s Bounty is missing….

Through the mist, off the coast of Wharftown one morning, a shape can be seen. A ship, a derelict by the looks of it drifting slowly south. Its sails are torn and tattered, and the top of the main mast missing completely. She lists slightly, obviously having taken on water at somepoint during her travels. There is no sign of the crew upon the deck, and she looks completely deserted.

Following action on the high seas and the return of The Drake's Bounty - towed into port by The Riptide - a dark-clad elf is seen in the port of Cordor organising the transport of three coffins to the island of Caraigh. Before he leaves, he places a general inquiry among port authorities for any information that would identify the Bounty's rightful owner so that it can be appropriately secured.
On arrival in Ceyren's Mill he would notify the local Iron Guard, known to him from his previous extensive aid to the settlement, and consult with the town elders concerning the proper handling of human remains and a number of personal effects belonging to the deceased.

Admiral Darby of Wiltun does some investigating of her own. Checking into ship records and asking around on Caraigh and Wiltun about the Drake's Bounty. She would also help with seeing if there were any remaining next of kin for her to offer her condolences to and do what she could to help with putting the remains in the coffins to rest.
