I've noticed a horrible lack of solid bolts and bullets on the server. We have tons of awesome arrows, but slim pickings on the rest of ranged ammo. And throwing stuff as well.
Is there any chance to have some new ammo implemented?

In terms of Bolts, the Flying Dwarven Fist, Bolts of Dwarven Wrath, and the Wharftown Explosive Quarrels are the best I've found. Nothing amazing but they are useful in the right situation.
Bullets? No idea if there's anything outside the basic 1d8 Elemental stuff. I'm hoping to build a Hin Warsling Sniper and find out, but what I've seen is pretty bland.

There definitely needs more types of each launcher/thrown weapon with the exception of arrows, I agree.
The bullets are probably in the worst spot, next to throwing axes, which is a shame. Their poor damage alongside bad crit potential and damage makes people avoid them. How about x3 crit on the axes with better enchantments? It would fit the axe family crit multiplier.
Then we have bolts, which tops at 2d6 slashing damage (you can craft 1d10 positive, 1d6 fire damage bolts for undead hunting if need be). Almost every bolt does x amount of slashing damage, which limits damage variety greatly. Perhaps make it possible to craft d10 or d12 physical bolts with the right job. Then you'd be able to create d10/d12 bludgeoning, slashing OR piercing arrows, and further add 1d6 elemental damage via mythal crafting. There are some quite nice throwing darts out there, but nothing too impressive. I suppose they work well enough for sneak damage builds, but otherwise there's not much to get out of it, considering the cost of replenishing them.
On-hit properties would be welcome too.

Alright. The name just seem to imply blunt damage to some degree.
Edit: Wait, so if arrows say 2d6 blugeoning, it is in fact piercing? Interesting.

When I last did a survey and post about ammo, bolts and arrows were on pretty even terms, actually.
It was just about everything else that was pretty lackluster in comparison.

Nah, arrows are far, far superior to any other ammunition, both in power and numbers. Bullets are sucking the last place.

There is quite the variety of useful arrows out there (not counting AA arrows), where you will only find a small handful of bolts that are "special". Three or four I believe, and one of the four is good.
