This isn't a huge one, but right now it requires almost no class investment to get evasion and casters can get it for two levels. When IE rings get changed or removed I'd suggest this get implemented as well. That way you're investing a decent amount into your build for such a great feat.

Seems needlessly arbitrary. After all, there's a great many nice things one can get with a 1 to 3 level dip, so where do we draw the line?

You're basically just saying "I don't like people who only take 2 or 3 levels in rogue." That opinion seems no more or valid than me saying "I don't like people who take 2 levels in fighter." (or 1 in ranger, 1 in barbarian, 1 in monk or people taking 5 in druid for shifter but not rping a druid, etc)

So what?

Mages have gobs of options to deal with anyone and anything without ever prepping a single Reflex-based blaster spell and frankly, any mage who uses a blaster spell with a save is an inefficient idiot (or newbie) to begin with. This isn't second edition anymore.

Seems very arbitrary. Do we move monk evasion to 5? Make Curse Song only gettable by bard 10? Divine Grace to 7?

The ring is the problem. Not this.
