Would it be possible to have the IG weather patterns correspond to the RL time of year? So during rL winter there would be more Snow, while during RL autumn we might see more Rain or Overcast weather. Even better would be if areas would spawn weather-related placeables (like snowdrifts) depending on the RL season.

I feel this would help immersion as well as allow people to RP out the seasons more consistently.

It, actually would be awesome to see, even if it is as simple as adding a text-cue.

Yes please a million times over. Text cues with the weather, moon cycle, etc varying by location

Wed have to choose between northern and southern hemisphere weather. Some players would always be in opposite seasons.

Assuming Toril is also at a tilt, Amia is somewhere above the equator and would be northern hemisphere. Shouldn't really matter what hemisphere we as players are in.

What I want to see, and I mentioned it last time, is a very slight mechanical impact from weather. I honestly won't begin to care about the weather until it actually means something in game. I make note of it already in RP, but if we're talking about immersion, that is what I feel would make it immersive. It doesn't have to be something as drastic as Frozen Wastes or Lava Depths, but I mean, if it's pouring rain outside, things should be a bit harder to catch on fire, right? And if it's foggy, a bit harder to Spot. That sort of thing. RP flavor queues will help, but mechanical queues would have much more of a presence IMO.

Amia is Northern Hemisphere even without an axial tilt. Sorry, Aussies!

Winter is coming. I mean, better weather is coming.

This is a work in progress. Happening soon, in chunks as we can edit areas.

Keep an eye out!
