I had to wrangle a dm for this, but we figured it out through some testing.

Elemental Shape Item Merging Table

Quote:
Weapon; No stats or damage or enhancement bonus merge.
Torso; Yes to stats, no to everything else incl enhancement bonus.
Shield; Yes to stats, no to everything else.
Cloak; No.
Helm; Yes.
Gloves; No.
Belt; No.
Ring; No.
Neck; No.
Boots; No to everything (dodge, stats, nothing.)

It's a joke how bad it is. Not only that, the abilities don't match whats on the shifter spread-sheet, but that's a whole separate issue.

Any chance we could get some item slot merging with elemental shape?

Unfortunately, all druid shapes merge what counts as "armor" only. :(

The wildshape too. I'd prefer it different for sure, but I am prolly not the right DM to judge this as I am more than likely a bit biased here. :D

I'd also really like an 'epic' animal form so I don't have to fart around as a gas unless I'm willing to sink literally every single feat into a singular epic shape.

While I did that, it would be cool if there was like a druid 28/29 ish animal shape that actually has usable stats.

Seriously.

It'd be awesome for the high level druids to get access to legendary animal shapes that evolve from the dire version and are 25+ druid exclusive.

Would be really nice.

If I didn't have dragon shape I don't know what I would do in a fight. Be a worse cleric-zilla with no divine favor and no domains and no full plate I guess, or a worse wizard without the big damage spells or epic mage armor. This is compounded because when the AI ever notices you, which they do all the time because you don't have invisibility, they will just bee-line you over your summons/mummy dust/animal pal because that's how the AI works in this game.

Trying to grind Cor from 20-30 was a horrible slog, partic at the end, I can't imagine playing like that all the time.

I mean, you have like 30 ac in some elemental forms, and others have an attack bonus that's like 22. It's literally trash; and the only 'epic' shape you can get requires all six of your epic feats; and basically shoehorns you into 29/1.
