A very low priority suggestion, but something to keep in mind if a Dev ever takes a shine to the idea.

If possible, it would be awesome if PC's could "tie" a specific weapon or shield to the scabbard and guige items we already have in-game. After the item is tied, the PC's wing model would respond to that item being drawn or sheathed. Scabbards switch to their empty version when the chosen weapon is out, shield guiges go away when the chosen shield is taken out. The end result would look something like this.

It's nothing major, but it's always a bit odd when your PC draws their shield, yet has another on their back, or the same for their sword being out. It would make a cool item even cooler and also save people the trouble of constantly using the guige and scabbard items themselves, which is the last thing you think of in any situation where you have to draw sword and board.

Edit: Come to think of it, this shouldn't be too hard at all. It's basically like the old Hooded Cloaks, except instead of changing the head model while an item is equipped, you'd be changing the wing model.
