I did this the other day and received a frustrated pm off someone as a result. It's annoying, particularly in areas like Bendir Dale. I'm always surprised how large the radius of the party-grab is on the transition.
Would it be possible, to change the cart conversation script to be something like: -
"'Sup. Would you like to go to Cordor?"
1. 'Yes.' - Just grabs the one person. 2. 'Gather your party, and venture forth.' - Will grab everyone in your party nearby like it currently does. 3. 'No.' - Speaks for itself.
I'm sure there are any number of solutions to this, but this was the most simple thing I could think of. I think it'd prevent people from REEEing so much.

^ This. Although the idea of the cart driver suddenly dragging everyone around his radius onto their cart against their will just for extra business is amusing.

Yeah this should definitely be sorted.
Until it does then, just for anyone who doesn't know - you can cancel the move dialogue by opening the rest menu (hit R, but only if your text box isn't active - this may explain the apparent failure rate, but it always works for me).
Sucks that someone complained at you about it though, it's really not your fault.

To be fair, it happened several times in a short timespan, and I didn't complain to him, I simply asked for a warning, and I was in no way rude about it. That was it. I'm fully aware of hitting "R", and I would have, if ooc warning had been given.
I do support his suggestions. Either reduce the radius, or add a multiple person option.

The Dale is the only place where this is really a big problem, so I'll just go in and adjust the trigger for it. I'd rather not do a module update just for the one problem spot. It's not that big a deal for more than one person (if someone is accidentally missed) to have to pay 50gp now that the carts don't kick people off anymore.

Fair.
The REEE comment, was due to the usual party chat response when someone is Cartnapped. Kudark wasn't an ass about it, I could just understand his frustrations, as it happens often enough to have gotten a name.

Done for next reset. Hopefully that'll be better. I moved them back a bit and put the trigger in talking distance from them. If you don't want cart-napped, don't hug the cart drivers.
And if you want to hitch a ride, get closer.
