Recently, one visiting the area around the Temple of Lloth would note a new addition: several monstrous guards, apparently from the ranks of House Ussen d'Vhid by their livery. They stand guard over the area around the temple, keeping a close eye on anyone attempting to enter it. Those who are not clearly drow are prevented from setting foot in the unholy site, with little, if any, room for negotiation.

Ilharess Nizzre’tyne thoroughly enjoys the sight of the additions as she glides by them with a pleased smile. “You see,” she comments to her jaluk as they enter the Temple “Ussen d’Vhid understands what is needed and provides." Her smile grows. "As does Jess d’l’Orbb.”

Catching sight of the new guards in passing them to seemingly pay her due respects, a purple garbed Lintharess grins at the sight of the beasts. Eyes wandering over them, she chuckles to herself as she enters the temple itself, murmuring something in an approving tone "Beasts of horror alike... fitting guardians indeed."

Security around the Temple has been furthur tightened it would seem. As of the last cycle, the guards now only permit those bearing an Ussen d'Vhid insignia, or those escorted by someone bearing one, to approach and enter the temple. All others are told, in no uncertain terms, they will not be allowed to come closer.

The white-streaked figure of the shaiith had little to no change in her routine, departing from the pit one cycle to feed herself, turning some time later without impediment. Perhaps some deal had been arranged prior, perhaps there was an unspoken understanding, or perhaps she had simply been made exempt from the exclusions; whatever the truth, she held to her pattern with little regard of the other humanoids. As ever, her focus remained with the spiders.

Having not allowed inside the temple he left his note to one of the guards, as well as some gold for the trouble of delivering a letter for the Ul'ath'tallar. (( pm sent to Velthura.

It would seem that someone has recently objected to the presence of the guards in front of the temple. The bodies of the minotaur and hellhound lay where they fell, damage from spells and a whip evident on them, as is the notable absence of their hearts, which appear to have been ritually removed. In a bit of twisted whimsey, the head of the dead hellhound was inserted into the rear of the minotaur's corpse as well.

Calle'Xe' notices the bodies of the guards during one of her patrols and asks the Duergar workers in the area to describe what happened and who attacked the guards. She then has Dragule search the cavern for intruders and has the bodies of the guards brought into the quellar front gates by her golem to await further inspection.

Witnesses, at least those who will admit to have really seen anything, are few. There is some vague mention of a female drow, an argument, and the minotaur taking a swing at her, but it readily becomes apparent that anyone who was in the area made it a major priority to be elsewhere when the violence broke out.

Ilharess Nizzre’tyne Jess d’l’Orbb was practically giddy with delight as the jaluk of Jess d’l’Orbb to put down silk cloth over the blood from the slain guards so that she would not sully the hem on her robes. She hummed a tune made famous by a certain drow bard as she waited.
“You will assist me in searching for bloody boot prints inside the Temple.” She told him as she glided across the silk cloth, then up the stairs and into the Temple.

Elk'dorl walks up to the Temple looking arround to see that everything is in place. After being satisfied with the outer Temple's security he enters inside and proceeds to do his rounds.
Hmmm...will need to make sure there are enough bodies to guard this place
He would turn to his demon and wave his hand
Go see if House Zau'tar in L'Obsul has recieved my message for an audience, if they haven't respectfully tell them again.
He watches his demon leave in a hurry and he continues his rounds, making a few notes and mumbling to himself.
