Il'haress Maral Tinnerai left her private chambers for the first time in about twenty-four hours. She walked down the central hallway and entered her office wearing nothing but her simplest ritual robes.

Walking around her private desk in the corner of the room, she opened a simple looking cabinet. One that might be overlooked except for the fact that its simplicity seemed out of place among all of the dark granite of the qu'ellar.

Reaching inside she removed a box made of silver. The symbol of Lolth is inlaid into its lid in what appears to be black opal. Opening the lid, she gently runs her fingers over the small vials containing dark brown flakes that are nestled in spidersilk. Her hand stops over one in particular, and she lifts it from the box. Replacing the box, she closes the cabinet and walks toward the Tinnerai altar room.

She taps a small amount of the brown flacks onto Lolth's altar, and begins the incantation. The divine power flows through her body, through the flakes, and into the altar, leaving a distinctive metallic smell in the air.

When the jaluk opens his eyes, his Il'haress says in a flat tone, "Get up Je'dra'xilith, we have work to do."

The Priestess turns and leaves the altar room, not waiting on a response.
