Citizens of Edonil,

Per our Ust'Il'haress orders, my survey of the cavern where the city of webs has begun. There are questions to be answered regarding Edonil. The building to the North East of the Melee-Magarthe, as of now I am unable to find use for it. The door is locked, there are no signs and my questioning of others have come up with answers. If you know its use, please send word to me of what it is and who is the owner.

The northern area next to the building I briefly spoke about, I seek answers on its use also. Gatherings, Summonings?

As I continue my survey and defenses of Edonil, I will have additional questions.

Il'haress Tal'Vyrae

//Sorry all! I meant to post this much earlier, but ended up going to sleep. I'll just add it to Tal's thread since it applies.

A letter which bears the seal of House Tinnerai is sent to each noble house, academy, and guard stations.

Be it know that Il'haress Tal'vyrae Noqut'tor is working to assess security matters, and draw plans for improvements within our Chel'el d'Cressen and is free to move about the caverns as necessary to do so.

*There is a flurry of activity as Nizzre'tyne's 52 dashes out not long after the letter is dropped off making a stop at the Melee Magthere with a letter. Nizzre'tyne herself, makes a delivery to the librarian and does something else while there.*

The workers of the city are seen scurrying about. Some testing soil, other's digging holes and grabbing soil. Il'haress Tal'Vyrae can be seen barking orders and writing down on a parchment with her finely decorated quill.

"Hurry up with that sample, I am not inclined to wait much longer."

The slave scurries to get the sample then takes it back towards the Il'haress.

"This sample is full of mushrooms. Did you not dig the depth I required?"

"Of course Il'haress. We dug to 10 feet, the whole way there was mushroom growth along the way."

The Il'haress looks stunned, comtemplating the implications.

Further writing has appeared on the bottom of the original letter.

"To our citizens of Edonil,

I, Il'haress Tal'Vyrae Noqut'tar, am assessing how we might adapt our city to become more defensable beyond it's current state. As it stands we are giving up the high ground to invaders if they attacked us due to the natural manner in which this cave is shaped. In her infinite wisdom, Ust'Il'haress saw that my previous experience in dealing with such matters and my tactical mind would be put to good use in making this city safer for all. In the days and months to come you will be seeing alot of changes, that I and others have suggested and Matron's council sees fit to enact. These changes are only being brought about due to the folly of our previous leadership who are no longer around. It is with the wisdom of our current leadership in all areas that we may move forth to make the city of webs our Queen's most favored city.

Ilharess Tal'Vyrae Noqut'tar,

First congratulations on your official rank of Yathrin in our Queens City of Web Temple. You have complete support of our Queens Temple in your endeavors of course. Might I suggest a look at the portal crystal for we do know that our enemies come in that way also, as I'm sure Ul'Saruk Zeketh'ryn mentioned.

If you would also mention to the Ust’Ilharess, since she deems it unnecessary to speak to our Queens Yath’tallars directly, that her plan to blackmail Lolths Voice in our Queens City of Webs into silence isn't working. The investigation of her heretical behavior shall continue. Her theft and the harm done to our Queens Spider Guard then having her barbarian lock them up in the building Ussen d’Vhid is staying in shall not deter our Queens Voice from doing my duty. Tell her to return the Spider Guard immediately.

If she is so concerned in the security of our Citizens she would have the guard out of aprons and into the armor that myself and others forged for them. She would have permanently closed the hole she herself made into the aboleth cavern from our Queens City of Webs and she would have allowed House My’afin to complete the more secure gate into our Queens fair City of Webs.

Again, congratulations and I am looking forward to your ideas on the security for the surrounding caverns.

As the Ust'ilharess makes her regular patrol of the city, she walks through the marketplace judging the effect of her open trade policy. Seeing the notice from the ul'athtaller an amused chuckle slips from her throat, "I must be truly blessed by the Valsharess indeed, if I can capture the spider guard while I'm not even present in the city." Maral strolls on, the black cloak swaying softly behind her gold and black armor, a sly smile curving the corners of her lips, and her arm resting on the hilt of her longsword - which once belonged to another.
