Notices are posted in the Yath’tallar library, the Spider Guard notice board, upon the inside and outside of the Temple door and given to the Temple Priestesses, physician and Spider Guard on patrol.

It is time once again for a survey of our Queens lands and Her citizens. Your responsibilities are below, I expect the only the best results from our Queens Priestesses and Spider Guard. As the Spider Guard will be reporting directly to The Voice of our Glorious Queen I expect that you will each do what is necessary to carry out your responsibilities. Anyone whom does not cooperate shall be escorted or carried to the Temple waiting room (//jail) for disposition by a Yathrin or Yath'tallar.

Priestess Responsibilities:
1) All Priestesses shall report to the Temple with an appropriate token of their faithfulness to our Queen.

2) Each Priestess shall report to the Spider Guard the token offered so that it will be reported in turn to The Voice of Lolth.

3) Those Priestesses whom have completed #1 shall see to it that those that haven’t are escorted to the Temple upon seeing them in the City of Webs. If they do not have a token on hand that is not the escorting Priestesses problem. They are to report immediately anyway.

Spider Guard Responsibilities:
1) Your patrol routes shall now include all of the City of Webs including the Deeper Dark and the cavern where House Tinnerai and the Sorcere are located, until further notice. I expect these patrols will be by two’s if possible and not to significantly detract from guarding our Queens Temple.

2) Each patrol will stop everyone they see and you will gather the following information.
a. Their race.
b. Their name.
c. What academy they are registered with
d. Males – their mistresses name
e. Their skills.

3) Do remember that if the individual does not cooperate you have the authority of The Voice of Lolth to do whatever you deem necessary to see that they comply.

4) Also, do remember that anyone brought into the Temple waiting room is to be stripped, tied up, gaged and all symbols and insignia available for the ranking Priestess whom will speak with them.

Lolth tlu Malla!

Jhal'vyrae, after reading the outside temple board, pondered a momment before walking away to her business.

She is seen most cycles returning to make her presence known as a priestess. Where she awaits to give her token.

If not recieved that time she leaves after a long stare at the token and then to the doors that lead to the inner sanctum and then to the guards watching her with what only could be called frustration.

Ul'ath'tallar Nizzre'tyne is spotted entering the Temple cavern at a slowed walk. Upon closer inspection she has a handful of white hair and is pulling the limp body of a drow female dressed in red and black. Her original entry point into the City of Webs is easy to find considering there is a bloody drag marking from the portal crystal to the Temple door.

Then the Ul'ath'tallar doesn't stop in her trek to the Temple Alter room. The dragging body making an interesting swishing sound. She did not stop to acknowledge bows or to speak to anyone whom might be loitering in the foyer.

Once in the alter room, the drow female must have been awakened for she screamed or cursed or did whatever one does when one finds themselves upon an alter of Lolth under the ornate sacrificial dagger of a High Priestess of Lolth.

After much commotion and prayer Ul'ath'tallar Nizzre'tyne entered the foyer. She was splattered with blood, it dripped down her bare arm and off her finger tips. She wore a bare minimum of clothing and a grin.

"Spider Guard," her voice carried the power of an Ul'ath'tallar "let it be known that this cycle Ul'ath'tallar Nizzre'tyne has presented a token of her faithfulness to our Dread Queen. A heretic priestess and all items taken from a successful raid conducted by the Ul'ath'tallar and an exquisite ring of gold and bloodstone." Her gaze swept the marble floor and the blood trail and she motioned to it flinging droplets of blood in that direction. "And someone get this cleaned up."

Then, she spun on her heel and went back into the alter room, leaving a fresh trail. This time of bloody boot prints.

After a similar sacrificial display that was blessed in its proceedings, Jhal'vyrae was seen later in Temple colours, rubbing the top of the Yath'tallers office desk. She seemed to critically examine the texture and workmanship, a thoughtfull smile present..

Before clicking her tongue with finality and strolling out to patrol Edonil, humming an underdark dirge and tapping a whip to her thigh in time.

The unranked priestess known to some, including the Ul'ath'tallar, should she remember their solitary meeting in Iniquity, and several other ranked jalils, as Zrae'a'stra'fryn would be seen handing an open letter to one of the Spider Guard. The tall, proud jabress would not deign to deliver it to just any one, rather her eyes sought the member with the highest rank present at the time she did so. Folded once, the outside was not addressed to any single individual, it was given with the mention that is was 'for the yath, specifically the Voice herself, only'. As it was open to the Voice and high priestesses of the Temple, any of them could potentially see the contents.

On this day, with the glory of She, the most Dread Queen, this child of the Spider Queen has seen the call to the Temple priestesses and seeks to pay homage herself. I, Zrae'a'stra'fryn, do deliver unto Her as sacrifice the found testaments to several of the lesser's gods. A ring, crafted in the name of Uthgar, lesser god of human barbarians. A hammer branded with the dwarven deity name of Moradin. And yet another ring, this one forged for the surfacer goddess Selune. Though I am not counted as part of Edonil's grand Temple, I wish to put them to proper use on Her altar rather than merely cast them aside into the depths.

For the glory of the Valsharess! Lolth tlu malla!
-Zrae'a'stra'fryn-

Ul'ath'tallar Nizzre'tyne after reading the letter handed it to the Spider Guard on duty in the foyer. "See to it that someone finds me so that I may escort her in."

//Let me know when you are on and I'll meet you with Nizzre :)
