As Ul'tah'tallar Nizzre'tyne hands pieces of torn parchment to the Spider Guard she speaks in her usual pleasant tone.

"Harbingers of the Spider Whom Waits, blades of our Queen, in your hands are samples of handwriting. You will be visiting each citizen whom currently is in our City of Webs in teams of two when you are off duty from guarding the Temple itself. You will have them write the following:

'Watch all about, warily and our Goddess may give you the gift of continued life. Stupidity should be rewarded with death.'

Then compare this to your sample. If the writing looks in any way similar. The individual shall be taken immediately to the Temple jail cell to await questioning by a ranking Priestess."

She looks at each of them in turn so that they might feel the weight of her power and perhaps contemplate what might happen if this individual is not found.

"You will also detain any individual whom is not Drow in the Temple jail cell. Do remember the rules as anyone whom is waiting in the Temple jail cell shall be stripped, bound and gagged."

As the Spiderguard are recieving their orders, the duty M'elzar and two Zhaunin arrive and bow deeply to the Ul'yathtallar. They wait patiently at attention until bidden by the Voice.

The M'elzar bows again, "Dread Ul'yathtallar, compliments of the U'faeruk, we", He indicates himself and the two Zhaunin, "Are to assist the Spiderguard in tracking down the new literary heretic."

They then place themselves at the disposal of the Spiderguard and assist them enthusiastically, taking shifts with other patrols as needed.

Irae, helpful soul that she is, supplies the guard with wands of Polymorph Self, as she whispers to them to guard against the Dancers of Tarkuul. She also murmurs an aside to Nizzre' regarding Mal'dra Do'virr's worrisome, and borderline heretical, defense of Tarkuul's rights in L'Obsul.

*It maybe noticed by those with the mind to look that the Olath'Sutrinos As'drubal has been absent completely from his posts of late, neither appearing in public, or seen among his quellar in private. It is as if he has disappeared entirely.*

It seems the Scholar finds himself escorted to the Temple yet again, for submitting two different versions of the same text in two completely different styles. Per his usual request, he asks to keep his adamantine mask and his trench coat upon entering the cell and he graciously nods to his self-titled friend "bob" being the resident skeleton in the corner.

It seems from observations that the Temple's new resident guest had taken some humour out of the situation, being the scholar that he was; one the Spiderguards quite frankly didn't agree with.

Twiddling his ever changing thumbs, he awaits ever patiently for the inevitable questioning and interrogation.

Ul'ath'tallar Nizzre'tyne glided past the cell not long after, pausing at her office door then turning to stare at the Scholar.

She held several pieces of parchment in her hand. She lifted them slowly and shook them at him.

"I swear you do this on purpose. You know, there are easier ways to get into this room. And easier ways to be invited to tea with me, jaluk." Then she narrowed her eyes at him. "Or is it that you enjoy vexing the Spider Guard."

She stopped shaking the parchment at him. "I know that you are too intelligent to have written such tripe. You have seen the writing sample, should you come across it at all I expect you will report it to me at once.”

She didn’t wait for a response. Instead she called for a Spider Guard to open the cell door and escort the Scholar out of the Temple.
