Post subject:  A Visiting Dignitary
A well armed band of 6 Drow arrive in L'Obsul via lizard. It is not even a full cycle later before three splinter off to form a second group which then takes the boat to Nec'perya. In each group are a whip-bearing female, and two warriors. They appear to say little to those without authority and bear a simple, red and black symbol on the clasps of their piwafwi:

In each town, the groups of 3 keep to themselves and speak in hushed tones to each other while sitting in the public bars of each location, awaiting something. Those daring to get close enough can make out three words: Quenthel, Chaulssin, and War.



((Letum will be handling the L'Obsul side of things, so please direct anything on that end their way :) ))

Chesswae was convening with Oph'ilee in the house compound of Lolarox, when the guards arrived with the news of this well armed band of drow in the bazaar of Nec'perya. She listened to the words with a silent nod, and gathered a pair of guards, as well as invited the sorceress to come to meet this group.

When meeting them, she looked over their attires for their house symbol and to gauge how well armed they were. She announces herself as Ust'Ilharess of Lolarox and then directs a question to the whip-bearing female, "Vendui, who might you be?"

((Got Mercedes' ok to include Oph'ilee in the post. Let me know if something is not allowed in the post!))

As they approach, both of the males take note of them and offer polite bows of their heads as expected of their station. Then, one of the 2 males, gives the subtlest of nods to the female in the party whose back is turned to them. She turns to gaze at the two and speaks. Her voice was calm and soft, though her demeanor befit her status as a daughter of the 1st house of Menzoberranzan.
"Vendui, jabbress. I am the 4th daughter of house Baerne d'Menzoberranzan and require an audience with the leaders of this..."
She took a moment to look past the two, eyeing the surroundings before looking back to them.
"village. This, Nec'perya, has experience with Shadow Dragons, by rumor. That potentially makes you useful as Lolth has ordered her faithful to war with the heretics of Chaulssin. Shall we speak more of this somewhere less, public?"
As the females spoke, the males looked over the rest of the entourage's equipment, avoiding eye contact with the females.

Not too much longer after Chesswae arrived, the strange arrival had intrigued Miz'ri and she joined as well. These types of events didn't often occur. She watched from a distance, their initial words not failing to spark immediate interest.

In the coming cycles, Alaund would take notice of the entourage's appearance and watch their every move while patrolling the streets. Seeing if they had set up an embassy or simply left after speaking with the Ust'illharess.

The 4th daughter's words piqued the interest of the first matron, who listened carefully, tapping her chin with spidery fingers. A small moment after, she looked around to see those who were gathered before her answer was made.
"Very well, we may speak over refreshments, within the privacy of my qu'ellar."

When spotting Miz'ri, she nodded to the matron, and invited her to join the small gathering to speak to the visiting dignitary from House Baenre. Should she accepted, they would all head into the compound, followed by the guards.
