Rarn spends a great deal of time trying to convince other kobolds, both from the surface and below, to unite under a single kobold home, ruled by a dragon. For two straight weeks he presents his case before the kobolds of his area. He calls on all that will hear to come and listen to him speak to the kobolds in the underdark about the future of their kind.

He tries to summon as many kobolds as he can, saying that he had the goal of seeing his kin as much more than what they are now.

He speaks from a tall rock, overlooking the kobold home in the underdark. He looks over miners and scavengers and all other manner of kobold life.

He speaks in a yaping version of the Dragon language:

"There are only 2 guards protecting our nest and eggs. The rest of the cave is barren, with nothing to show besides neglect and poverty. Our past leaders have failed us.

We must dig further into the rock, to place our precious offspring in a hidden and well protected place, and also to allow or otherwise influence a Dragon to make his or her home here by providing them with a safe and secure lair.

After all , the purpose of a kobold is to serve a Dragon, even if the Dragon disagrees.

It's a mistake to think that a Metallic Dragon will come and rule this far into the underdark, but perhaps we can persuade or bribe a neutral Dragon to come and be our master. I and others cannot serve a Chromatic Dragon. Tho any Dragon is a god, to be feared and respected, it does not mean we must follow them.

That being said, we don't need to stay in this lifeless place, we can find a home somewhere else. But we shall have to fight for our home, our kin and our Dragon masters, specially in the surface. May the wisdom of the Wyrms guide and show us the best that we can do."

He ends his speech with the age old saying of his ancestors,

"The dragon scale toughens our skin. The dragon bone adorns our skull. The dragon heart flames our sorcery. We are the dragon, and for the dragon we live. Long live the dragon."
