Members of the enclave,

The Vaunted Temple announces the execution of the rite of Unhallowing that will be taking place within the next seven days. The casting of this ritual will require twenty four hours of undisturbed incanting. All are invited to attend and those who would disturb the ritual will be punished severely.

-Temple of Velsharoon, Tarkuul.

((We're aiming for this to take place around Thursday/Friday at somewhere around 6-9pm GMT, or whenever Glim is available during those days))

The unhallowing ritual will commence in twenty-four hours.

Midnight approached and the Lord of the Forsaken crypt turned his gaze upon his followers as they vigilantly attended their nightly meditations. Necrophant Jarshall in particular knelt before the idol of the Lich Lord and bowed her head in her silent - and unholy - prayer. For one hour she was as still as the dead she so favourably works with.

Immediately after her vigil, she stood to her feet and dusted off her robe. With a slight nod to Necrophant Ramin, she descended deep into the catacombs where she began preparing material components, practicing somatic movements and reciting verbal incantations, preparing herself for what was to come as the hour drew near.

Jarshall lit the incense, placing them around in a circle before the idol. She placed several bowls of herbs and oils at the five points of an invisible pentagram and a sum of gold. She casted her hands downwards, her bare hands outstretched to the components on the ground and she began circling and entwining her hand motions intricately.

Then started the incantations.

Lord of the Forsaken Crypt, bequeath unto us your attention.

The components began smoldering ever so slowly as Laura began the chant.

Lich Lord bless unto this temple your unholy blessing, grant us your power.

She continued the motions as practiced, ever so slowly, the faint feel of energy seeped into the temple. Like small droplets of a melting icicle, gradually increasing. Hours and hours passed in muttered unholy prayer and the energy became increasingly palpable.

Archmage of Necromancy, I call unto thy name unhallow this unholy temple and your name.

The hours counted, and the ritual began making its toll slowly on the Necrophant. Beads of sweat trickled down her temple only to be absorbed by the cloth folds of her robe, but she continued on with the ritual dutifully.

The energy was palpable, the ritual had reached its zenith. The whirlpool of negative energy took on the visage of the crowned lich skull of Velsharoon and rose above the whole temple. As it reached the ceiling, it exploded like a firework of red glowing energy which quickly faded into nothing, but the energy was still there.

Forever unto and beyond the twilight in your service, knowledge and power. She finally concluded the prayer. The energy finally faded, though the presence of it could still be felt, and the temple down to every last crack in the stone was now, without a doubt, dedicated to Velsahroon.

Jarshall looked to Marinna and gave him a slight nod, and a knowing look. It appears the Lich Lord has accepted and blessed me, Necrophant.

There can be no question... Necromaster. Ramin responded to Jarshall.

A fitting title. She concluded before turning to the commuters, nodding to each before leaving for some much needed rest.

As the ritual was concluded, the High Arcanist was basking in the flow of negative energy and
the sinister feeling that was inbreathed into the very fabric of the Temple of Velsharoon.

"Congratulations, Necromaster. May the Vaunted grant you Knowledge and Power."
