A Lecture on the Wizard's March, the Origin of Mythals, and the Revealed Natures of the Weave

Image

On the 23rd of Hammer, I shall be highlighting one of the most historic Amian events of recent decades: the Wizard's March and its reverberations. This will also include a discussion on mythals for those who should like to gain a better understanding of them. My own story is very much tied to these events and I will be happy to field questions from the audience at appropriate times. If you have questions you should like to ask beforehand, feel free to send me a message and do so.

The lecture shall take place at the 8th Bell of the Evening in Belenoth's lecture room. Transportation via portal will be provided ten minutes before the lecture at the carts in the Dale and the beach at Wiltun's Port.

Will you be providing a portal back as well, or are you
intending to persuade more citizens of Tarkuul to spend
their lives in an abandoned mine in the frozen wastes?

*A note is left in reply*

Bitterness is very unbecoming, Lucius. Especially over the freely made choice of others. Transportation back shall be provided. And certainly, any are welcomed to stay as much as they are welcomed to return home--should they wish to.

I must say that I find it ironic that the officials of Tarkuul continually refer Belenoth as a waste and a crypt... as if they had not looked under their own feet. I must presume to take it as a compliment, given the source.

How considerate of you. Now I can sleep peacefully.

As for your comparison of an abandoned mine with a
Netherese enclave I believe any comment on my behalf
would be redundant.

Lucius, please. If you wish to talk to me, you may as always. This is not the behavior of a Headmaster, but of a schoolchild. I fail to see how you have taken a mere difference in approach and opinion so personally as a scholar.

You are, in any case, still welcomed to come the lecture.

The one thing I cannot forgive is stupidity. And how stupid you
were to lose all the privileges and favor in Tarkuul over seven of
our citizens whom you have tricked into following you? There is
nothing we have to discuss. You are not welcome in the City.

Lucius is quietly informed by the Voice that Beldor, is, in fact, still welcome in the Living City, and those that left, chose to do so of their own terms, with no magical compulsion involved.

It is not a public proclamation.

It doesn't need to be.

Lucius, expecting this reaction, answers The Voice that it goes without saying that his
own stance on the matter is not meant to reflect the stance of the Council as whole.
As far as Lucius is concerned as an individual, Beldor is no longer a welcome guest.
