Today the Living City rumbled in an unnatural way. All went eerily silent as the Sentinels tilted their heads upward, as if listening to something unheard. For several minutes, the Sentinels remained utterly still. As this occurred, a deep red light suddenly burst above the city. It roiled angrily, accompanied by yet another rumble. The light gathered into a beastly form with great, fiery wings and shot straight up into the air over the city. In a flash of red, it vanished high in the sky. The Sentinels then shuddered as they lowered their heads, but otherwise did not move from their posts. The city seemed to return to normal.

Within the hour, a few skeletons could be seen putting up a few copies of a declaration in key areas.

Let it be Known

The Living City of Tarkuul hereby declares Gerald Edmund, former Speaker of the Council, an enemy.
For crimes of attempted assassination, misappropriation of city resources, and slander inciting unrest toward the Living City...

Let Him be Hunted to the Brink of Death.
Much Worse Awaits Him by our Hands.

Upon reading the notice, the red-winged Legate would first simply stand guard by his usual pillar. After a while, thiugh, he'd seem distracted, and head out into the swamps, clearing out as many Troglodytes, Shrooms and orcs as he could find. After a while, he'd simply turn to slaughtering whatever he'd find, away from settlements.

After hours, he'd return, and write a small message.

Keeping the guardsmen and their commanders updated would be too difficult, right?

Returning from a sojourn in the swamps, Sicarius would stop to read one of the notices. Reading it over a few more times, the half-elf would simply continue his way into the city, not seeming perturbed by the news at all.

A tall, winged and extremely slender figure, pauses briefly by the notice, leaning on his
staff. For a moment a wicked, raspy chuckle could be heard as he continued on his way,
followed by a swarm of thick, black flies.

A woman clad in pelted furs would walk by the notice. Pausing for a moment to read over it from underneath her cowl. A faint somber expression reaches her lips being the only thing visible as she reads it.

Taking a moment to feed a rodent to the cobra coiled around her neck before moving on through the city.
