Citizens of Cordor!
Are we not entitled to an election? Are we not allowed to vote for the new government, after all the other times we have let the mighty run the city? Should we not have a right to influence our own lives, and be better than the oppressive kingdoms around us?

Eighteen days ago, we should have started collecting names for an election.
Eight days ago, we should have started voting for these names, setting our own government for the benefit of all.
In two days we will need to have finished voting, without even having started yet.

Are not these basic principles there to ensure the safety and fairness of the city? Do we want to simply want to let the old governors and ministers deny us our right of self-determination?

Tell me, where are our governors? The East has been taken over by Tristana, who already has responsibilities as a minister. Why have we in the West never gotten a new vote, after our last governor was removed by the people? And where is the governor of the Center of Cordor, Fymor Volkov? Why has none of this ever been solved in the monthly meetings? Are the ministers trying to keep their powers and deny our Constitution? Or have they merely been sloppy with their announcements? Why has there not been an election for the governor of Our Center?

We need to stand up and resolve this, before thus gets out of hand, as enough examples in our past have proven. Let us hope the governments still allow us elections, though belated. We wouldn't want to have to prove what we, the Free People of Cordor can achieve, do we?

Gideon Hannigan.

After some time, but likely not enough time to reasonably an answer, even if the government was willing to give an answer to this right away, some new posters, under the last ones.

Citizens of Cordor!
It appears as if the rulers of Cordor do not approve of Democracy. They do not approve of the Constitution, which sme of them even signed themselves. Is the "Cordor Liberation Day", which is a holiday engrained into the Constitution, supposed to become a joke? Do We really want this day to remember Our lack of action, Our lack of protest against the oppressors is going to change this. We would have a day, in which the governments celebrate their victory over free will, while We get to reflect on Our passivity. Do we want this to happen?

Is it a coincidence that two of the current rulers are in their second term, which would mean they would have to relinquish their power after this election? Is it a coincidence that one of the ministers working towards this is a d'Cordor? Or is it Our fault, for not seizing our right to self self-determination?

We have now waited, Our time to still have a somewhat adequate election has passed, the government now has a delay of more than a month. By doing nothing, We can not expect them to start new elections. Why would they? They want power, just like Our previous governments wanted. Have We really not learned anything from them? We need to show them that We refuse to fall into the next greedy hands, only caring about their thirst for money and power!

To remove any doubts about my motivations, I want to have Democracy. I want the will of Our Districts to be represented fairly in the meetings. If new elections were to happen, I would run for Governor of the West, but I would take care of the public opinion, as the current government clearly has not. How can fair meetings have happened, without anyone representing the West or Our Center? How can the East be taken care of when its so-called "Governor-pro-tempore" is Minister of Wealth at the same time? How can one deal with both free of bias? One can not.

Or, how can take care of the "Health and Public Wellness" after a recent marriage with one of the Knights of Kohlingen? How can she take care of Cordor, while living in Kohlingen? To see the state of Cordors Health and Wellbeing, one would have to actually be in the city, asking people, maybe visiting orphanages, or the Hostel in Our Center. This isn't possible from Kohlingen.

Where are the others? Who has heard of Malin recently? Fymor? Joey? Are these missing? Dead? Why were they never removed, if this happened? Or why do they not have a public face in Our fair city at all?

Wouldn't tending to issues like these be handled by the Speaker, or the Council, with the absence of Our Minister of Labor?

One last question. Why?

In the end, it is not their job to ensure elections, but as the People of Cordor, it is Our job to do so! If We do not do anything, how can we blame them for a lack of elections?
In the end, We need to show them what We want, what We can achieve, and what We will do when someone denies us our Free Will!

Gideon Hannigan.

After more than half a year of silence, new posters would spread. These newer ones would be hanging all around Cordor, in every district, just as the last ones.

Citizens of Cordor! It has been more than half a year, that our rights have been taken, our rights to vote, our rights to chose who governs our fate, who rules over our lives. Half a year, that we have had no voice in our politics. How can we simply sit by, while the people we elected simply ignore their responsibilities?

I heard a piece of information, which I thought relevant. The elves of Winya plan to have an election. The elves of Winya are planning an elections, and we simply sit by, and ignore our own? Should we simply sit by, outdone by the elves, watching, like sheep, not recognising our responsibilities to take our own lives into our own hands?

Is it simply up to fate? Is it our fate, to go from one tyrannical ruler to the next? Is it our fate, to be sheep, herded by a shepherd? Is that what we want?

Based on our current lack of action, it is. We want to be ruled by a small council, that does not care for our constitution, which proves its intention for our people, and our fair city.
We are content, with houses in our Center being robbed, with a serial arsonist, and multiple counts of murder, in many cases even with guards present and ''watching''. This is how well our Minister of Law has been keeping things.
Our fair city continues being little more than a glorified slum, with very little political influence on the rest of the iland, despite being the largest city, which proves the capabilities of our missing Minister of Labor, Malin.
Even now, half a year later, there has been no official replacement for Fymor, and the Rest refuses to accept public opinion for the governor of the West.
I have yet to hear of any action of our government, besides their blocking of an election.

Why are we sitting by, idle, while nothing is done, while our government ignores us, while our fair city dies?
Do we want to be outdone by Winya, of all places?
Do we want the elves of Winya to have to show us how Democracy works?
Or do we want to show them?

Gideon Hannigan.

I couldn't agree more. Isn't it time the people of Cordor had actual leadership? For too long we've been walking the mire of bureaucracy that is Cordor politics. The fact our Governors have all but disappeared, yet there have been no elections is appalling! If Cordor is to grow, and move forward, we must have elections, and we must continue diplomacy and seek allies in other settlements.

A single response, written under Florence's notice.

Florence,Could this even be blamed on bureaucracy? Can there really simply be the 'organizational effort' behind the elections? Is this really to blame simply on the delays of paperwork?

Or, could this perhaps be the effort of the few elected positions that still actively use their power? It would seem the most obvious, given they would be the ones losing most from the elections. They simply want to continue holding their power, especially with many of them having to leave city hall after their term, dictated by the constitution. They would lose their dear positions, their dear powers, their glorious reputation.
It is not only the fault of the 'mire of bureaucrcy', but also the fault of the people who we trusted, and have betrayed our trust.

For this reason, any attempt at diplomacy would need to be delayed until after any elections, to ensure it is done by the voice of us, the people of Cordor, and not the usurpers of our trust. These people have shown that they do not care about democracy, which means that they could not care about public opinion, or the good of all either. They are far too absorbed into deserting us, and sucking up to Kohlingen to care about the people, the normal, hard-working people of Cordor.

*The elected members of the Convent and the thanking the observation but they are elected. Also the transitional judiciary tribunals are also thanking the observation but they are elected. Otherwise they would indicate that formation of a new constitution is not to be rushed. Due to the critical amount of factual mistakes in the notices and the relatively unknown names, citizens do not seem to care much about the flyers.*
