Citizens of Cordor! Are we not entitled to an election? Are we not allowed to vote for the new government, after all the other times we have let the mighty run the city? Should we not have a right to influence our own lives, and be better than the oppressive kingdoms around us?
Eighteen days ago, we should have started collecting names for an election. Eight days ago, we should have started voting for these names, setting our own government for the benefit of all. In two days we will need to have finished voting, without even having started yet.
Are not these basic principles there to ensure the safety and fairness of the city? Do we want to simply want to let the old governors and ministers deny us our right of self-determination?
Tell me, where are our governors? The East has been taken over by Tristana, who already has responsibilities as a minister. Why have we in the West never gotten a new vote, after our last governor was removed by the people? And where is the governor of the Center of Cordor, Fymor Volkov? Why has none of this ever been solved in the monthly meetings? Are the ministers trying to keep their powers and deny our Constitution? Or have they merely been sloppy with their announcements? Why has there not been an election for the governor of Our Center?
We need to stand up and resolve this, before thus gets out of hand, as enough examples in our past have proven. Let us hope the governments still allow us elections, though belated. We wouldn't want to have to prove what we, the Free People of Cordor can achieve, do we?
After some time, but likely not enough time to reasonably an answer, even if the government was willing to give an answer to this right away, some new posters, under the last ones.
After more than half a year of silence, new posters would spread. These newer ones would be hanging all around Cordor, in every district, just as the last ones.
I couldn't agree more. Isn't it time the people of Cordor had actual leadership? For too long we've been walking the mire of bureaucracy that is Cordor politics. The fact our Governors have all but disappeared, yet there have been no elections is appalling! If Cordor is to grow, and move forward, we must have elections, and we must continue diplomacy and seek allies in other settlements.
*The elected members of the Convent and the thanking the observation but they are elected. Also the transitional judiciary tribunals are also thanking the observation but they are elected. Otherwise they would indicate that formation of a new constitution is not to be rushed. Due to the critical amount of factual mistakes in the notices and the relatively unknown names, citizens do not seem to care much about the flyers.*
