*A scrawny, battered looking courier finds their way to Korthan when he next spends time at Khem, delivering a small letter. The writing is that of a scribes hand, likely at request of the sender to retain legibility and perceived eloquence.*

"Mr Korthan, it is my hope that at least one copy of this letter finds you in good time and not weeks later on the body of one of the couriers I sent that has been found blocking some sewers. I remember the tournament well, and I was glad to be in attendance, both for the profit my stall earned that day, and to see my kin bring his stone to the arena. I gladly receive your invitation to discuss both your personal and business matters.

I recently made a venture to Khem before seeing your posting, in an attempt to acquire venom from the local reptiles, but found it a troublesome matter and settled with setting up shop instead at the central market. I would be willing to return to Khem to meet you as trade proved to be profitable, so it would be an ideal occasion both speak with you and to further my trading whilst there.

I shall make for Rua'thym and the desert portal at my soonest convenience and ask that please look out for me there with the hope that we will find each other on my next venture.
